“Clean comfy rooms! However the AC was struggling noisy, but working! Complimentary bottled water for guests would be better then the tap water”

“The decorations and furniture seemed fairly new. However, the baseboards needed to be redone. The rugs throughout were disgusting.”

“Booked a two bed for 4 people. At check in they requested full payment. Upon entering the room, it was visually old, they advertise kitchenettes but it did not have one, just a microwave from the 70’s, the bed upon sitting on the bed the mattress tipped over off the base multiple times. The bed smelled filthy. After attempting to fix the bed we notice an empty pack of cigarettes fall to the floor, next to a hair pin that was there from previous users. “The place is old, but charming. The room was ready as soon as possible, even though it was a busy weekend. Super close to the lake and restaurants. The couple running the lodge are amazing, sweet, helpful, very accommodating. This was our first time here and will probably be our last because they are closing in October. If you get a chance to stay here this summer, do it!”
