The place is so quiet as it is located on a lake road off the main road, so there is little to no noise at all. “My dog and I spent the week doing day trips, but she really preferred staying here and playing and beaching and there was no real need to leave. The ocean, the view, the sunrise, the great blue herons, the osprey, the Eagles, the singing birds.....I will be back next year!”

“Cottage was very clean and comfortable. When we weren't out exploring the island, we enjoyed the peace and quiet on the back porch with the view of the sea. Thank you,Tammy, for the local goodies. They were a treat. My only suggestion would be to have written instructions at the house with the Wi-Fi password. We struggled to find it, and without CP service outside the US, we had no way to contact anyone to answer our questions.”

“We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of PEI. We selected The Cottage at Mink Basin because it was close to a wedding we were attending. The beaches, lighthouses, and seafood were perfect. It was a wonderful vacation for us. The cottage was perfect - cosy, comfortable, and quiet. The location is great for sightseeing the eastern side of the island.”

“Very nice clean cottage. Well stocked kitchen. Nice location - was great being close to big grocery stores so that I didn’t have to bring all the food with me. The heat pump kept us nice and cool and the beds were very comfy. Was great having two bathrooms each with showers. The only down side was that there wasn’t much in the way of comfortable seating - one small couch and a rocking chair (and 4 wooden dining chairs) for 6 of us. All in all we had a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave!”

“What a great, rustic cottage within a 2 minute walk to the beach. You can walk many kilometres on this stretch with no people. Just what we wanted. The cottage is rustic as stated in the ad. There is no microwave but we didn’t eat dinners in. This is a secluded cottage so not close to restaurants. We didn’t mind as we explored the east part of the island.”

“Amazing location with direct access to a gorgeous beach. Property was well equipped for all ages. Lots of fun in the screen room listening to the waves and also lots of fun inside on the ping pong and air hockey table! Would highly recommend.”
