“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. “What a wonderful little place to stay right in the heart of Staithes. The owner is super friendly and cooks an amazing breakfast. We stayed in the Botany Bay room which has an amazing view. For those arriving by car, I would advise parking at the top of the hill and taking only essentials down to the property with you as there is no parking down there.”
