“Staff very helpful but facility is old and in need of renovation.”

“Parking was easy. Staff was super friendly and helpful. However the pool was out of order for repair. The only working ice maker was on the 3rd floor. Shower pressure was awful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was just ok. ”

Had to comfront them about this. The evening shift staff member could careless about what I pass on to him. For me this hotel will not be on my list to stay at in furture travels. ”

“We were traveling from California to Michigan and made an overnight stop in Council Bluffs. Since we were traveling with pets, we needed a pet-friendly hotel and chose the American Inn after reading many positive online reviews. The staff was very kind and friendly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the condition of our room was disappointing. The moment we walked in, there was a strong odor that smelled like mold. “Very dirty, bugs all over, very poorly maintained, security doors to the hotel had the locks broken so anyone could walk in. The adjoining door between rooms was duct taped closed. We didn't stay for our 2nd booked night but found a cleaner hotel close by.”

“This hotel is the PERFECT location, close to the Omaha Zoo, close to downtown Omaha, easy for ride share drivers to find and has free breakfast! Will be staying here again for future trips!”
