I have stayed before when it was Knights Inn and is basically the same still. Could use a little fixing up. The rooms were clean and the lady at the front desk was very helpful in suggesting food to eat. Will stay again if stopped in the area.

it was smelly like old mold or something and the repairs like cualking etc..was not very good quality. its an old place and that in itself makes it undesirable

I don't recommend this place. Book somewhere else. The low price isn't worth it, spend a little more and get a safer place. Also, the wifi isn't great. The "continental breakfast" included is a paper bag filled with 1 apple, 1 juice box and 1 muffin, given by the man at the office... Like I said, book somewhere else.

The husband-owner of the property is a grown child. He is unable to regulate his own ego and is clearly not knowledgeable about the facility's issues. There are consistent and persistent connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi, be sure to have data before residing. Instead of properly addressing facility infrastructural issues, they will shuffle you to another room to find a new issue. Each suite is an escape-room puzzle of finding out what the specific issue is with it before they swap you to a new one. They will then put the person who walks in right behind you asking for a room into the room you just asked to be swapped *out of*. The prices at this facility are contingent upon how much they can fleece you (ask the indigenous/n8v/native/metis/First Nations/Indian (which is a legal term btw - totally messed up) residents what their 'rent' is for long-term stays; whom were gems btw, the real issue is the local government's austerity wrt social existence in the city). The only redeeming factor in this entire situation is the helpfulness of the wife-owner's character. I highly recommend, if you must stay there, to check-in in the evening and not bother with the 'breakfast' in the morning unless you like an apple-juice box, a muffin, and an apple with a topping of masculine mockery and power-tripping churlishness. They will not remotely reimburse your credit card for damage deposit, either (you must attend in person), so be sure to make time in your departure for the ordeal.

This place is straight out of a horror movie. Extremely sketchy area.. gross room.. smells bad and I don’t even want to sleep under the covers. I don’t even feel Comfortable sleeping here. I was checking in and a family with a little baby got dropped off here by child and family services because this is apparently their drop off hotel. They were complaining that this area is dangerous and worried for their safety. I am very uncomfortable and feel misled because the pictures are NOTHING like the real thing.

It was clean and good enough for the price. Bathroom tub is a little dated. Fan was really loud when it turned on and no coffee machine. We would stay again at that price. $50.

Asked us a lot of questions, we felt very confused and uncomfortable and a bit scared. He said he can’t control the weather and doesn’t know why we said that. We will be out by check out but are only here because we are stuck 6.5 hours from home & tired due to closed highway. They took both parties id, asked if we smoked & repeated several times we can’t smoke near the building. We had to program the cable box to the remote and toilet paper stuck to my neather region. All we wanted to do is have a safe clean place to sleep and then hopefully go home.

Staff was rude and sketchy, booked and paid for 3 nights at 377$. Checked in late at night but found a cockroach in the bathroom and left to spend the night elsewhere. Checked out the next day but was not refunded anything. I never even used the room and there was no cleaning they had to do to reuse the room. Crooks, straight crooks. Stealing money from single mothers is disgusting. You should be shut down.

In my business traveling career, I have spent at least 2000 nights in hotel rooms. This undoubtedly was the second worst experience. Unbeknownst to me, the annual Saskatchewan Agribition farmfest was on with literally thousands of people from rural Saskatchewan staying in the city. I tried my regular place but they were all booked up. I checked Expedia and there was virtually nothing available in the city so I ended up at the north end Thriftlodge. I don't really know where to begin. At check-in, there was no Lobby or Office to come in out of the cold which was 17 below zero, just a sliding window at face height. It's a motel not a hotel at a noisy, busy light on Albert Street. I enter my room and immediately notice they did not vacuum up after the previous guests. I start to unpack and as I am putting my toiletries around the vanity sink and move a face towel, a large beetle runs for dear life across the counter. I slam down the heel of my hand to successfully kill it before it escapes to the bedroom thinking it was a cockroach. I succeeded and was mistaken, just a big beetle hiding out in my room for winter. I go to hang up my shirts and suits. There is no closet or towel rack. Just a shelf above the toilet with towels on top. Underneath is a doweling attached with fixed hangars. Your clothes are hanging over the toilet so you have to sweep them aside to sit down! And no lotion due to COVID! Fistfights, crashing about and yelling at 3am both nights. Avoid at all costs.

I did have set backs checking in but the lady was fairly reasonable after all. I had major issues with picking up a forgotten item and was super insulted by the older man. He was entirely disrespectful. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone mostly based on the treatment I received. Overall it was clean and maintained and that was super important to me. Didn’t realize it was in such a bad area. Shoukd have read reviews first

The owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. The pictures of the room shown on website are very nice but in reality it's totally the opposite. Wyndham should look into this. Very disgusting place and front desk.
