“Very old hotel, some parts in better condition than others. Very ornate decor, almost Gothic, everything dark. Our room was painted in grey and black and felt claustrophic. The shower was good but the sink plug kept stopping up unless held open. The hall to our room smelled of damp. Staff are friendly but they need more people - it's quite a casual approach here. The best thing is that the hotel is centrally located. I would avoid staying here again.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The room cleanliness wasn’t up to my standards, but it was clean enough. The parking was disorganized and a massive hole where we could park our motorcycle. But I would sleep there again, if I ever go to Bancroft again”
