“Great location! The Refuge Inn's rooms were individually decorated and very quaint. A pony pen was next to the hotel that our grandkids loved to visit and feed corn kernels to the ponies. Staff was friendly and made us feel like guests not customers.”

“The best part about this hotel is the location, it is right on the beach and it is the perfect place to be if you want to be able to see the sunrise on the Potomac. The rooms were OK. It was definitely outdated and I would say the rooms were mostly clean. I would say it was a classic old school inn experience. if you’re looking for a place to stay for one or two nights max on the beach and you’re OK with a very basic room and amenities option. This is a good option for you.”

“Hotel in posizione tranquilla, struttura in legno, camere un po' datate ma ampie e ben tenute, la nostra camera aveva balcone con vista sulla laguna. L'hotel ha una piscina esterna e offre la colazione continentale gratuita.Si trova vicino al paese, non lontano dal parco nazionale e spiaggia.Ci riteniamo soddisfatti. “Our weekend was amazing! From the moment we walked in we were treated very well. Housekeeping was on top of everything and rooms were cleaned daily. The pool was clean and plenty of seating around it with umbrellas. Bartender Celeste was so friendly and took the time to have conversations with all the guests that came her way she was helpful with suggestions/ recommendations. Jesse our waiter was also very friendly when we ate on site. And the breakfast was definitely better than most places we...
