“We went during winter and weren't aware that there was no internal heating, we booked the basic site. Do yourself a favour and upgrade. Location is good and it's a good way to experience the Coonawarra as there are limited accommodation options available, despite it being a fantastic place to explore ”

“What a beautiful property! We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Beds were comfy, and lots of care taken to keep the place clean and visually interesting. Enjoy! ”

“We decided to stay here for a restful break in early Winter. Not unexpectedly it was rather cold and wet outside, but the Unit was wonderfully warm and well insulated despite the weather. The bed and couches were very comfortable and the kitchen was easy to work in. We chose to bring a slow cooker and air-fryer which meant we rarely went out for meals.
