“Abbiamo soggionato solo una notte al The Barn come tappa per spezzare il viaggio nella great ocean road. Il posto è un po fuorimano lontano circa 5 km dal paese più vicino. L'atmosfera però è veramente eccellente. L'hotel è composto da più strutture tutte raggiungibili sia a piedi che con la macchina tutte ad un piano con vista giardino. Stanze molto grandi curate, pulite e rifinite. L'hotel inoltre ha un'ottima stakehouse molto rinomata dove mangiare ottima carne!”

“A lovely country retreat just out of Mt Gambier. Quiet, comfortable and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen. Hearing the birds singing was a joy.”

“While this was a comfortable place to stay, because of what it was - an old gaol - it wouldn’t be for everyone. We slept in a cell which was well heated and had a comfortable bed, a toilet and hand basin. We enjoyed our stay, but don’t go there if you’re looking for luxury.”

“Great one night stay - obviously not the comfort of a modern hotel room, but this is compensated by the amount of history that is on offer. Still has all the basic facilities you need such as outdoor area, communal showers and kitchen facilities.”
