The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and approachable, and the location was excellent—close to the main city and with easy highway access. “Room was well decorated, clean and spacious. Bathroom decor up to date, well equipped and also spacious. Air con works very well and kitchen well stocked. Dairy 5 minute walk and paknsave 10 minute walk. Places to eat also 10 minutes walk. Bus stop outside which takes you to the Base and across the road bus stop that takes you to central district, hospital and many other areas. ”

“Love the easy parking here, staff are always friendly, the room was nice (shower itself was a little grubby on the floor), werent sure about doing dishes as we couldnt find a brush, soap and towel. It was a good selection of buffet breakfast.”

They made sure all our needs were met but allowing us the privacy to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Te Karaka lodge surroundings. Our meals, prepared by the master chef, Franz were as good as we have experienced in any restaurant . Only the finest ingredients selected by him. Presented beautifully with attention to detail and creating wonderfully unique taste combinations. We cannot recommend Te Karaka Lodge highly...
