“The place looked good when we arrived but took a fall from grace when we went to dinner, steak was on the menu but all three of us could not even cut it with a steak knife and the amount of people sending the steak back agreed with us it really put us off and the breakfast was not much better when we told the staff they were not interested overall disappointed”

“Lovely place to stay! The owners are very friendly. The room was beautiful and I had the cutest little gecko visit me. Highly recommend. Thanks Angie”

“Perfect for family peace and quiet. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The place is 5 Star in my books”

“Great venue and staff”

“This is an ultimate holiday. The lodge is extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and an absolute eye candy !! Food is of high quality and very well presented. Staff are amazing. Pleasant, attentive and very quick to respond. The Game drives are very well planned. We were lucky to have Cameron as our guide and driver and Muzi as our spotter. They work in close unison. Cameron is an encyclopaedia and takes time to explain you everything. They also treat you very well with the Amarula coffee and...

“Everything was very nice Except they charge high amounts some level of comfort is expected in the chalets bed ,linen and pillows I was asked to pay for things i didn't use as i was at the main gate Other than that all was fine”

“The property is beautiful and I loved the boardwalks through the forest. The staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly - they went out of their way to accommodate me as a vegetarian and the chef made a delicious curry even though it wasn't on the menu. Thank you for the lovely stay!”

“The good: staff was very friendly and kind and the reserve has a beautiful view over the valley below. They went out of there way to be helpful. The game vehicles were comfortable and we appreciated having a storage locker between the seats. Anzel was super kind and really tried hard. We liked the little surprises that they had throughout our stay. The bad: hot water in the shower was good for 2-3 minutes and then went cold. Elephants are on other side of the reserve and are too far to...

“Struttura molto accogliente in buona posizione.

“I loved this place, convenient for a stop over on the way to the coast. The dinner (Stew & salad) was amazing!! Lovely rooms, with private outside area where you can sit and listen to the birds. Definitely recommended.”

“Guest house carina, arredata con cura. Zona silenziosa. Peccato per la stanza invasa dalle formiche. Pulizia carente. ”

“The lodge is lovely with very attentive staff. The cat sanctuary is a must visit and trips to Hluhluwe was easy to organise. It is an easy drive to St Lucia and to Bayete to see the elephant education demonstration which is a must-do. Be aware that there is very little around there so likely you will need to eat dinner at the lodge. The foods is quite plain with not much choice. Also be aware that the rooms have no TVs. I would recommend the Lodge for its position and the attentive staff.”

“Just incredible! Just go. Incredible game drives, wonderful food, spectacular rooms, the most loveliest of staff.”
