We have been renting out our Villa Cornelia since 2018. Here you have your own apartment and at the same time you are in the same house as your friends or relatives. The Villa Cornelia is located near Rethymno, near the villages of Stavromenos and Asteri in a fantastic valley, which tourists like to explore by tourist train, bicycle or jeep. The panoramic view over the olive groves to the Mediterranean Sea will fascinate you! The three apartments are well equipped and air-conditioned. Only three of the four apartments are available for rent and can accommodate up to 11 people.

Furnishings
Two apartments on the top floor can be reached directly from the parking lot via a separate entrance. The third apartment is located on the ground floor directly at the two pools, also with a separate entrance.
The 1-room apartment on the top right, with a fantastic view of the sea, has a living room/bedroom for 2-3 people and two balconies.
The 2-room apartment on the top left, also with a fantastic view of the sea, has a living room/bedroom and a separate bedroom for a total of 4 people plus baby bed and has a large balcony.
The other 2-room apartment on the ground floor has a living/sleeping area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a regular bed for a total of 2-3 people/children and has its own terrace with a pergola. This is right by the pools.
All apartments can be equipped with additional folding guest beds. This allows expansion to 11 people.

All apartments are equipped with:
Color TV (satellite connection) partly with DVD player
Kitchen: incl. crockery, oven, electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. There is only a dishwasher in the large 2-room apartment.

Bathroom: shower / bathtub, hair dryer.
Towel and bed linen change and cleaning takes place once a week. Cleaning supplies, clothespins, tea towels, etc. are available.
Internet is available. But remember! You should go on vacation and not work.

Pool and Garden:
A large shared swimming pool is available. There is a separate children's pool for the little ones. A grill is available for barbecue evenings. The ground floor apartment has its own BBQ.

For your safety:
For your security, we have stored the addresses and telephone numbers of the German and English-speaking family doctor on site. A hospital, dentists and we personally are at your disposal with help and advice. You should lack for nothing. That is our claim.

Location/Location:
Just pack your swimsuit and go shopping in the port and boutique town of Rethymno, which is 15 minutes from the house. You can drive to the beach or the bay of Costa in 5 minutes. The location is particularly well-known for its good climate. Although close to tourism, here in the valley, embedded between the olive groves, you don't feel much of it. We are located 900 meters from the village of Asteri. To be on the safe side, we are happy to send you directions to our villa so that you know exactly how to get to us from Heraklion or Chania airport.

Transport connection:
It is 2 km from Chania - Rethymno - Heraklion expressway, 55 minutes from Heraklion Airport, 1 hour and 10 minutes from Chania Airport and 15 minutes from Rethymno Ferry Port. There is a bus connection to Rethymno, there are cafes, taverns and various cultural institutions. The village of Asteri for small purchases is 900 meters away. The big supermarkets are 5 minutes away and a Lidl supermarket is 10 minutes away.
