“Anyone used to camping will probably enjoy this but it wasn’t the case for us. We usually stay at hotels but thought we’d try this since the pictures looked nice and reviews were good. Overall setting didn’t seem as nice as the pictures, and the space was smaller than we anticipated. This was more like “trailer in the backyard” than “cabin in the woods”, but again, it might just be due to the fact that camping is not our thing. Staff was attentive and room was clean.”

“Really nice place to stay! Beds were a on the soft side for our liking but it was a comfy place overall. We didn't have service when we arrived so make sure to take screenshots of the wifi name & password before hand. If youre arriving late make sure to stop for groceries or nabbing dinner before arrival its about 20 plus mins to the normal grocery/ restaurant in Luray. However Fairview Grocery is super cute with a limited deli and has locally sourced basics and is about 10 mins. Definitely 5...

“We enjoyed our stay at this dog-friendly tiny cabin. The space was very well done, with a nice yard for the dog to enjoy and even a game room, which was a fun bonus. The location was great, and we appreciated the many extras provided for guests—very thoughtful and accommodating touches. There were a few downsides: we noticed a smell in the closet, and unfortunately, there was a yellow jacket nest right by the sliding glass doors, which made things a bit tricky. Arriving at night, it was also...

“We had an amazing time during our week at the Spidey Lodge. The place was exactly as described, and we thought the place felt bigger than the sq footage. Every inch of the place and decor was well thought out, and it was more than enough room for our family of 4. The kids fell in love with the Spidey/Marval themed game room/entertainment space that was completed detached from the house. We had a hard time getting them to leave. We all enjoyed the hot tub as it was clean and well maintained. The...

“Overall it was a nice stay. The host was easy to communicate with and the cabin was clean. Probably should be prepared there is no bathroom door if you’re a shy pooper.I do not feel like the listing was accurate- it lists several times how quiet and peaceful the home is… When compared to the dozens of VRBOs in the area, I would not agree. The pictures on the listing have been cropped to give the appearance the cabin is more private than it is. It is actually in a setup similar to a small...
