Hotel a Rexford

“I was so happy to find a decent place to stay on a long stretch of Rt 36 in Kansas that has very few hotels. This one was just right for a road trip overnight. The staff was lovely and I got a good night’s sleep. Bonus! There’s a fabulous little family run Mexican place, La Bambas, just a stone’s throw away! I couldn’t have been happier that night. ”

“The property was run down and generally a mess including the lobby and breakfast area. The clerk who checked me in charged someone else's room to my card even though we talked about his mistake for several minutes at check-in. He assured me he hadn't done that but the charge for the second room did in fact show up on my statement. He made assumptions, didn't listen (or understand English?) and could no communicate effectively.”

“I;ve stayed at this motel several times. Nothing fancy and the drain in the bathtub was very slow, but I got pretty good value for the money. You can walk to a couple of restaurants. ”

“Our room was clean, the staff was great, and our bed was comfortable. Knowing this was a newer property, we were surprised to find that the bathroom door didn't close properly, there was a big corner chip out of the bathroom mirror, the adhesive-backed lotion dispenser had fallen off the textured wall, and one of the shades did not operate well.”

“We needed a basic hotel room to stay for R&R 12 hours on a long cross country treck, and this was perfect. It was not on the freeway, so very quiet,downtown Colby, a small rural town. We backed the car to within 10 feet of the door to the one story U-shaped complex, so we could easily get our overnight stuff into the room in minutes.
