“Nice room, the only drawback was no closer to hang anything up”

“Giant cockroach. At least 3 inches crawling on the wall of a room. Seen it right before going to bed. So that always helps a person sleep. Our sliding glass doors were broken. It rained and our carpet by the doors were soaked. The drawers on the Tv stand were broken and falling out. No way to use, glad we didn’t after the massive cockroach. Doors wouldn’t even stay shut unless you had the door locks up. Which were also broke. For a $400+ room I could have stayed somewhere cheaper and had a lot...

“There is no housekeeping unless you are in the room. The only deliveries to the room is via robot. No in room dining. Rooms were not that clean. Not convenient to downtown. Casino was great and casino restaurants were great. The hotel needs to step it up.”

“This property is “pet friendly” which means that there was a dog down the hall that barked all afternoon and into the late evening. Even after repeated calls to the front desk. And there was several sports teams with young players staying at the hotel when we were. They were very loud in the halls late into the evening. “Was in town for a sporting event. Great location and room was a good size and clean. Check in was an interesting experience. Very little interaction, very transactional and now clear guidelines given on how to find our room, and no information was provided regarding the breakfast facilities/times etc was given. Personally I find having an airpod in during a customer interaction a little unprofessional but I could just be old fashioned and used to the customer service of more recognized chains....

“The Fontaine is in our rotation when traveling to KC. It continues to be very suitable for its location, cleanliness, comfort and value. Are the rooms in need of updating? maybe, but not to extent of calling them tired. We love visiting the bar on the 7th floor off the pool deck, though pool was not open for the season yet on this stay. Some of the best happy hour drinks you'll find anywhere! “We went to the dining room the first evening of arrival to order some dinner after a long day of travel with delays and other problems, and were told it would be over an hour to get served because they were busy with room service. This was around 8pm in the evening. They shouldn’t have a dining room up if they aren’t any more efficient than that.”

“This place is quite stunning. It is also very secure with the attached parking garage key coded. Our room was so large and tastefully decorated. The layout was perfect for us as the separation of living and sleeping areas enabled the early riser to be up and about while the other slept in. The bathroom was spacious and had a separate tub and shower. The breakfast is varied and very well managed. The food in the AVI restaurant was very, very good and fairly priced. “Not pet friendly👎 they advise they allow pets, which they do but they do not accommodate for pets. We couldn’t even bring our dog in the hotel because we couldn’t use the stairs and and had to leave without even staying one of the nights we booked. ”

“Parking was good having a kitchen in my room was great. They had fresh brew coffee every morning. I stayed there for 21 days and my only complaint was housekeeping schedule. When we checked in, we were supposed to have Housekeeping every four days. On day 4 they came timely and did a nice job on day 8 they did not come so we had to call and they came on day 9 on day 13 I called to confirm we were on the schedule & I was told we’d be “squeezed”in. “The balconies off the rooms were nice to grab some quick fresh air. The fitness center is open 24hrs. The restaurant was decent food. But it is an older hotel in need of some renovation and there’s really no other options besides paying for valet service if you have a vehicle. I would’ve hoped that valet parking be included with our stay but that wasn’t the case.”
