“I stayed at this property to be close to a work training site. The property and room was clean and staff were friendly. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. I reported two issues with the bathroom and it was never resolved during my stay by staff. I had to find housekeeper to obtain a new bottle of lotion to hang on the bathroom as the existing one was watery. In the hotel pictures on the website, it shows an area to order hot food and beverages. When I arrived, I was informed...

“Was in town for a sporting event. Great location and room was a good size and clean. Check in was an interesting experience. Very little interaction, very transactional and now clear guidelines given on how to find our room, and no information was provided regarding the breakfast facilities/times etc was given. Personally I find having an airpod in during a customer interaction a little unprofessional but I could just be old fashioned and used to the customer service of more recognized chains....

“The Fontaine is in our rotation when traveling to KC. It continues to be very suitable for its location, cleanliness, comfort and value. Are the rooms in need of updating? maybe, but not to extent of calling them tired. We love visiting the bar on the 7th floor off the pool deck, though pool was not open for the season yet on this stay. Some of the best happy hour drinks you'll find anywhere! On matter of bathroom towel racks, none except one in the shower, not sure why there aren't any on...

“The balconies off the rooms were nice to grab some quick fresh air. The fitness center is open 24hrs. The restaurant was decent food. But it is an older hotel in need of some renovation and there’s really no other options besides paying for valet service if you have a vehicle. I would’ve hoped that valet parking be included with our stay but that wasn’t the case.”
