“The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at. The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance. The family who operate the hotel are invested and are a delight”

“A parte le colazioni calde che erano ottime, le camere sono decisamente sporche, sembrava che le cameriere sistemassero solo il letto (bottiglie vuote non tolte, una farfalla é rimasta a terra morta per 3 notti, capelli non nostri in bagno….). “Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. “Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! “We stayed in Criccieth studio apartment and it was perfect. Comfy bed, plenty of storage space, great kitchen facilities to allow for self catering. Lovely buffet breakfast in the main hotel building. Great choice of food in the restaurant in the evening. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly placed for discovering Criccieth and has good parking.”
