we have used the Belair Beach Hotel (in transit as we live in Greece) for 20 years, maybe longer. Feel now that it has gone over predominantly to All Inclusive that its nothing like as pleasant, friendly or such good value as it used to be. Last stayed 5 years ago, that was fine but feel that AI and the 'new' rooms are taking over and the ordinary visitors are being put to one side. Food isn't as good as it used to be, nowhere near as good, but when all is said and done it is not an overly expensive hotel but I don't feel I will return - too many changes and a different feel to the hotel.

The location was good for getting the bus into the main town and then on to other areas of the island. A beach (pebble/sand) just across the road, was ideal for chilling and still being close to the hotel and shops, which was ideal with toddlers. You could also do Jetskiing, again just on the beach so not far to go for those adrenaline seekers. There was a tourist centre specialising in excursions throughout Rhodes and beyond. This was a walkable distance and you got to see what other restaurants and stores were available, enroute. The hotel was clean, staff were polite and helpful. The food could do with more variation for breakfast and more vegetarian options for dinner. The allergens and/or any other dietary requirements should be noted for each dish at the buffet station and not just on entrance to the restaurant. I've not heard of this before but I had to pay for drinks when I had half board package. Alcoholic drinks fair enough but not juices. There is a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee provided. An iron would be beneficial also. The biggest thing is that there are no USB ports whatsoever in the room! So you have to make sure you bring an adapter and a four pin plug socket, if there are alot of devices to be charged. The entertainment is a little questionable but quite entertaining all the same. I would stay again as it is good value for money and with the local restaurants and cheap stores around it makes for a good week's trip away from England.

Hotel che guarda la strada trafficata lungomare

Hotel per fortuna di transito perché necessitavamo di un pernottamento vicino all'aeroporto di Rodi. L'hotel si trova sulla cosa che va dal Porto di Rodi verso l'aeroporto , (costa nord occidentale dell'isola). E' fatiscente , tristo, il personale è scortese e sembra più un ostello che un Hotel ( 4 Stelle? e chi gliele ha date???) Il ristorante sembra una mensa da dopolavoro con un maitre maleducato che se vi lamentate vi prende anche in giro. La piscina ha acqua verdognola in cui non nuoterei nemmeno pagato. Ripeto Hotel orribile.

Hotel un po' datato ma nel quale è curata molto la pulizia e i servizi in genere. Staff molto disponibile e gentile, qualità della ristorazione buona, ottima posizione per i spostamenti in quanto l'autobus passa proprio accanto. Animazione scadente.

Research it carefully before booking

The photos are all out of date on this page. It's twice as big with another huge pool and is a package all inclusive hotel. Very few walk-in guests such as us as far as I could tell. Apart from lovely guy at bar, staff are super rude. Beds adequate but no doubles or Kings in superior rooms - just single beds shoved together. It was somewhere to sleep but unless you enjoy water aerobics group sessions etc with loud music scheduled throughout the day, relaxing at the pool is difficult. I wish we had done more research

Booked this hotel to attend a conference nearby. The area was nice and the beach right across the street. Room was spacious and fairly clean. One day it wasn't made as I left at 10.30, which I found a little weird. Also, I didn't receive clean towels every day, they were just refolded. Maybe a little too expensive for what you get, but at least it wasn't a dump like a lot of other places. The breakfast buffet was good.

Номера отеля не соответствуют своей ценовой категории: миниатюрное душевое пространство ограниченное одной стеклянной перегородкой, из-за чего вода разбрызгивается по полу туалетной комнаты; комната стандартная для отелей 3*; так как комната угловая, то болкон был ниже болкона соседнего углового номера, над нами нависали соседи. Расположение относительно моря неудачное, необходимо было перебегать улицу с достаточно интенсивным движением, ввиду отсутствия поблизости пешеходных переходов. Лежаки на пляже оказались платными, как пояснил их хозяин, у него с отелем нет ни какой договоренности, хотя нам в отеле дали информацию об обратном. Но об этом узнали в конце отдыха, так как со стороны Эгейского моря постоянно дул ветер и была волна, мы с утра уходили в город и купались в Средиземном море на другой стороне острова. Только во второй половине дня возвращались в отель и шли на море, а во второй половине дня хозяин лежаков отсутствовал. Только в последний день мы решили остаться на пляже на против отеля и узнали о плате. Завтрак в отеле был достаточный, без разнообразия.

Für alle, die in keiner Bettenburg landen wollen, reicht dieses Hotel. Der Service ist gut, die Zimmer groß und sauber. Das Frühstück reicht völlig aus, ist aber immer das gleiche Essen. Abends waren wir essen und haben “All Inclusive“ nicht gehabt. Autos kann man sich fast überall ausleihen, natürlich nur was da ist oder vorher buche! Für ein größeres Hotel ist es relativ ruhig, Zimmer zu = Ruhe, Klimaanlage an, fertig. Vor dem Hotel befindet sich eine sehr befahrene Straße, dahinter der steinige Strand, wie fast überall auf Rhodos. Die Liegen müssen bezahlt werden, kein Schatten. Wer nur zum Sonnen hier ist, sollte an den Pool gehen. Busse nach Rhodos Stadt fahren regelmäßig-unregelmäßig, aber sie kommen. Wer die Insel erkunden möchte, für den ist diese Hotel und das Essenangebot drum herum sehr schön.

Very nice hotel, we recommend!

We got a sea view room and it was great, The pool is great, transportation to the city is quite expensive (about 20 Euro per ride). The sea in this area is quite rough so to do sports you need to travel but they take you.

I not so bad

We arrived and where taken to another hotel round the corner because of a double booking which was a better hotel to be fair but was compensated with a late check out. The rooms were plain and clean like a premier inn. The balconys were spacious for two but sea view aparrently means if you stand in the corner of your balcony. Pool was small and pool area was busy and small sun loungers were V close and rows crammed in. Never ate there about half a Mile from a strip of 10 restaurants/bars then then 8 min taxi from Rhodes old / new town. Beach right across the road , cheap sun loungers @€5 each and the seas calm. Not bad expierence but would chose another hotel next time I visit Rhodes didn't have that edge or go the extra mile.

Le ménage approximatif les serviettes changées tous les jours mais le savon pas réapprovisionné. Le bar fermé et le soir il faut y chercher sa boisson qui est relativement chère. Le self service très copieux et relativement bon marché.

Lovely view while having breakfast

Lovely friendly staff, comfortable facilities , not too far to Rhodes town in taxi or bus. Bed and breadkfast suited us perfectly.

Отель старый, но чистый. Питание - брали завтраки: "шведский" стол стандартный, без нареканий. Убирали ежедневно. Из минусов: теннисный корт. Само покрытие корта никакое, требует ремонта. Ну и за это хотят 10-14 евро в час - полный бред. Естественно никто и не играет. Пляж напротив отеля так себе. Но это и понятно, все арендуют авто и катаются по острову. В общем, отель не для пляжного отдыха, а для активного отдыха. Поездить, посмотреть остров и т. д. Хотя бассейн нормальный, многие тусуются там весь день.

Close to the beach

The hotel is quite nice and on the whole the staff are pleasant and friendly; unfortunately we did encounter a couple of staff members who weren't quite as helpful as we would have liked and needed. The room isn't a double room and the hotel did little to change it from three singles to a single plus double - we had to change the sheets ourselves from single bed sheets to double bed (keeping the two singles together!) The hotel is clean and they do provide a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish to pay for the additional meals The proximity of the hotel is close to the beach, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, an agent next door who is happy to book various day trips for you, as well as a little store and car/bike hire next to the hotel. The bus ride to the center is approximately 15-20 minutes. If you prefer staying by the pool, make sure you claim your "bed" early otherwise you may miss out with people placing their towels on the beds then coming and going throughout the day!

Hotelli oli erittäin siisti ja siivous oli joka päivä. Aamupalalla oli todella rasvaista ruokaa ja makeita herkkuja. Tuoreita hedelmiä ja kasviksia oli tosi vähän. Maksullinen wifi yllätti, koska maksuton wlan on tätä päivää. Televisiossa oli erittäin suppea kanavavalikoima, esimerkiksi yhtään musiikki- tai lastenkanavaa ei ollut. Vaikka hotelli oli merenrannassa, ranta oli hyvin huonossa kunnossa. Hotellin ja rannan välissä on erittäin vilkasliikenteinen tie. Bussiyhteydet Rodoksen kaupunkiin olivat hyvät ja edulliset. Hotel is very tidy and there is cleaning is every day. Breakfast is very greasy and there are almost no fresh fruit or vegetables. Room tv had only a few channels, most of them news, no music or childrens' channels. The wifi was expensive, which is not normal today. Eventhough the hotel is along the beach, the beach was in a farely bad shape. And there was a very busy road to cross between the hotel and the beach. There is a good connection to Rhodes town by bus.
