I would like to inform you that from 01/01/2024 Greece has introduced a new tourist tax for visitors that applies to all types of accommodation rentals.

The current stay-over tax that chargers guests on hotel and villas has been replaced with a new “climate crisis resilience charge”.
This means that the extra daily fee that applies to guests by arrival to the accommodation will be 15 euros per day. This amount can be paid directly to the property owner in cash.

Revenues from this charge will go into a specially created emergency fund for natural disasters.

Ixia is situated on the busiest part of the island's coast, stretching along a long, pebbly beach. It's directly on the main coastal road that connects Rhodes Town with the airport and the western resorts.

The key landmark to remember is that Ixia is nestled between the city of Rhodes to the northeast and the village of Ialysos to the southwest.

Details: This is a very short and straightforward drive along the coast. Public buses run very frequently between Ixia and the city center, making it easily accessible.
2. To Rhodes International Airport (Diagoras Airport)

Distance: 13 - 15 km (8 - 9.3 miles)
Travel Time: 20-25 minutes by car or taxi.
Details: The airport is located to the southwest of the island, near the village of Paradisi. The route is via the main highway.
