Piccola casa sulla montagna - ZigZag Mountain View

Rilassati e rilassati nella nostra cabina personalizzata, unica nel suo genere. La cabina si trova su una collina boscosa sopra la nostra cabina principale. Si trova su 4 ettari di terreno boschivo privato, confinante con il Monte. Hood National Forest Land. Una vacanza perfetta per le coppie in cerca di trascorrere un weekend romantico nei boschi o una base di partenza per coloro che sono qui per godersi tutto il Monte. Hood ha da offrire. Escursionismo, pesca, sci sono a pochi minuti!

Lo spazio:
Accuratamente curata e progettata con cura, questa piccola cabina è decorata con opere d'arte e mobili di artigiani locali. La cabina ha una pianta aperta con un soppalco molto accogliente dotato di un letto queen size, comoda poltrona da lettura e una TV per guardare film. Il soggiorno ha un comodo divano morbido e una vista perfetta mentre vi rilassate accanto alla stufa a legna. L'angolo cottura offre tutto il necessario per cenare in un forno elettrico / gamma, tostapane e macchina per il caffè. Lo spazio esterno presenta un grande pozzo del fuoco all'aperto con una splendida vista sulla foresta e sulla montagna di Zigzag.

Per gruppi con tre ospiti - lenzuola, cuscini e coperte aggiuntivi saranno forniti su richiesta per il divano (non è estraibile, ma comodo per dormire - ottima opzione per chi viaggia con bambini). Inoltre, nei mesi estivi, c'è molto spazio per piantare una tenda all'aperto.

*** Si prega di notare - L'unità dalla strada alla cabina è ripida. Avrai bisogno di un AWD o 4WD per arrivare in cima a un veicolo (abbiamo una VW Tiguan e andiamo bene). Se hai un'auto 2WD, ci sarà una slitta per trasportare le tue cose su per la collina. È a circa 200 piedi dalla strada.

** Forniremo legna per una notte. Il legno supplementare può essere acquistato al Thriftway o al Monte. Hood Grocery, entrambi sono a un miglio lungo la strada.

* C'è una ripida scala a soppalco che conduce alla camera da letto. Non raccomandato per coloro che hanno problemi di arrampicata.

* Non ci sono microonde e no Wifi in questo momento.

The moment you walk in the door you feel right at home. The rustic decor is so well done. While the cabin is small, it is laid out well and has just about everything you need. The outdoor fire pit was so nice. We sat around the campfire every night and enjoyed the serene, forested setting. Thanks for the fun stay!

I really wanted to leave this review, because the little cabin is absolutely amazing. It's super accessible, not far off the main highway, but manages to feel very secluded and peaceful. I think I sat for an entire hour listening to the fire (in the most stunning stove I've ever seen) and staring out the rear window into the forest. For me, as an able bodied petite 33 year old woman, I had no problem carrying my items for a two night stay up the driveway. It's very short and I feel like some folks might be exaggerating the difficulty. I didn't use the sled, knowing that I would need to carry my items I packed my food in a backpack cooler and clothes in a sturdy tote. I even carried wood log fire starters! The cabin had everything I need to make my meals, aside from an oven. Everything is as portrayed in the photos. I found the stair/ladder to the loft very easy to climb. It wasn't a narrow or tight space. Susan was very nice and responsive. I never met her in person, but she gave me good advice on where to get a couple supplies and helped me find my way when google maps led me astray. I could get some cell reception at the cabin. I came planning to read, but I was able to share some photos of my getaway on social media.

Overall a wonderful experience! The location and cabin were wonderful. Everything was exactly as listed and very clean. We really enjoyed our time there! Super cute decore as well!

We really enjoyed the cabin and privacy. The only negative comment I would make is accessing the cabin without a 4 wheel drive. We got quite the workout bringing our stuff up a very steep inclined loose rock road. The owner have a plastic boat with a rope to use to lug it up. [We didnt have a four wheel drive] the woman owner was not helpful or accommodating to assist us. They just watched us struggled up three times with wood bundles and coolers, ect. So we thought that was weird. We loved their doggy dog. Sweetest as sweetest could possibly be. MJ and Amanda

I can not rave about this little cabin enough! It’s perched on a hill, with windows looking out into the wilderness. Although small in size (plenty big enough for two people), it has all the essentials for your stay. Susan, the property manager was very prompt with answering questions. Wish I could permanently stay here!

Wonderful cabin, perfect amount of coziness. Perfect place to focus on relaxation, disconnecting from the rat race. And you are close to the slopes on Mt Hood and just down the road from the Skyway, one of our favorite places or eat, baked mac & cheese and a drink, after a day of skiing. Enjoyed the picturesque snow landscape from the cabin picture window and would love to return in the summer!

Location, design, styling, cleanliness - everything was perfect! My close friend's boyfriend asked for my help in making their anniversary weekend amazing, and this cabin was exactly what he was looking for (I booked it to help keep it a surprise). It was so romantic, they were engaged before they left! Susan was quick to respond to questions and was helpful with info and recommendations in the area. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This cozy little cabin in the mountains was everything that we could have imagined it to be! It’s the perfect location outside of Portland for a nice, relaxing getaway! The place was beautifully decorated, and offered so much privacy with a breathtaking front porch view! We will be recommending this place to all of our friends & we will definitely be back!
