“We needed an accommodation relatively close to Blacks Harbor in order for us to travel to Grand Manan to visit family and TRUTH BE TOLD - this was the only accommodation available for our family of 5. We had a chaotic trip. We flew in from Alberta, one of our kids (we learned) is very susceptible to motion sickness... (its our first BIG family trip) there were challenges with our rental car. It was a tough travel day all around however!!! I am SO pleased that this was our first night...

“The Kennedy house is located right on the main street so it makes it very easy to get around town without having to use a vehicle. We parked our car for 3 nights and walked everywhere. The onsite bar and restaurant was good but they didn't offer breakfast. We had a nice view of the bay of fundy from our room. Understaffed....during check-in there was one person working the reception desk and the bar and of course the bar patrons took priority over the people checking in. I can understand...

“Very disappointed, the layout of the hotel was boring, not relaxing, over priced, food was good but way too expensive, the serving staff were great, had to wait for over 1 hour, after 3 phone calls for a hairdryer, the resort does not overlook the ocean at all, the grounds were clean but not impressive at all. Nothing to sit and enjoy. We enjoy walking but for many, walking may be difficult to see the shops. The shops were over priced, the restaurants outside the hotel were also good, a...

“We had a wonderful stay at Woodhaven. It was very welcoming and we loved the fact that it was very dog friendly. Beautiful location on Oak Bay. We especially enjoyed the hot tub on the deck overlooking the beautiful views of the bay.”

“Unfortunately, this did not qualify as a 5 star accommodation. It is a gorgeous , older home with beautiful gardens but amenities and support from staff was disappointing. Our room , quite “cozy” was lacking in supplies like tissues, shower cap, water bottles, extra towels, and it was dark with lights needing replacement. This could be a 5 star accommodation with more attention to detail and more staff present in site. Breakfast should def be included and not an extra charge!”

“It's a beautiful property and the pet friendly room we stayed in on the main floor was just renovated. The shower has great water pressure and the bed was so comfortable. There was a big common room, called the Tea Room, where we ate breakfast and were able to work for a couple of hours. It was just a short walk to the water and all the restaurants.
