Before I get into it, I will say they are attempting to remodel. The room we had, was somewhat renovated. Needs more paint by someone who knows what they are doing. And that wasnt even the worst. Trust me, far from the worst. Only positive is the sheets were clean. The blankets had cigarette holes in them. There was dirt, dust, hair, and other questionable things about the room. There were stains on lamp shade thar looked like blood, and a big black handprint. We brought the cleanliness to the manager. He said he would show us another room and gave us a key for the room we were in. Then he brought us to look at another room that smelled like something or someone died in it and was even dirtier than the room we were in. The manager clearly had no idea what he was doing. He was very overwhelmed and clearly in over his head. He didn't see the problem witg the room. I honestly think he was living in the lobby. The was trash (used plates/cups/napkins) all over the sitting area. There was blankets and pillows strewn all over the couch like an unmade bed. He smelled and looked like he hadn't showered in weeks. 0/10 Avoid this place.

As a place to spend the night during a long drive to Florida, the hotel is good & likely to get better as its renovation progresses. The staff was friendly & accommodating, and the Waffle House next door was convenient. For cleanliness, I'd give it 7 out of 10... not white-glove pristine, but OK. I'd definitely consider staying there again.

We loved being able to pull off I-77 and immediately be at a motel that could accommodate us and our dog. We liked to be able to park near our room's door. Our room was large, quiet, and comfortable. However, the sign outside for the motel and their Expedia ad said they served breakfast, and they didn't. They didn't even serve coffee! I have never in all my 76 years been to a motel that didn't serve coffee. Also, they had no ice and suggested I go to the Waffle House and ask them for some. The water for my morning was extremely hot, and when I tried to turn it down, I turned it off. Then I dried off with the thinnest towel I have ever seen. I am sorry to leave a negative review, as the person at the desk asked me to leave a nice one. At least I think that is what he said. He didn't speak English very well, and I had a hard time understanding him. Overall, it seemed we were in a foreign country, one that was not familiar with American customs.

The place could have been a little cleaner although bed and comfy and very clean! Young man working at desk when we arrived was very friendly and helpful!

The location made it necessary for us to stay here but it isn't a choice we would make again. Room smelled. It wasn't dirty per se. One waste basket for the entire space. thinking there just isn't a passion for hospitality.

Don't stay here!!!!!
Absolutely disgusting. Walked into the room and right back out to the car. Shirtless and very dirty man roaming the parking lot. Stayed 30 miles up the road which was cleaner and safer.
