It's a bit off the beaten path (which is what we were looking for) - we all enjoyed the canoes/kayak, my boys brought their fishing stuff, and we all loved the porch and firepit. The house was very well stocked, making it easy to prepare a few meals in the kitchen/on the grill! I loved that there was a washer/dryer and all the details were thought of... from bathroom supplies, to games/books, and everything we needed to...

“Beautiful setting, great hosts, clean house that felt bright and airy. We had a large rain just prior to our stay that caused the River to rise above the bridge. Host reached out right away and kept us informed frequently of status and progress. Bridge was passable just hours prior to our arrival but we had no issues thanks to her great communication. “Our stay was absolutely beautiful, between the cleanliness of the property, great communication with the owner (we decided to stay another day!), the train coming by at 9pm & 11pm, (it didn’t bother us, were used to trains being so close at night, the kids even loved it), to the beautiful scenario. The driveway was pretty steep I had to call and make sure it was the right way, while my aunt just passed it and had to call me. But all in all this house was a great stay! Definitely recommend!”
