“No front desk at the Overlook. Check-in is electronic. Managers were very responsive to a couple of issues that arose such as hot water issue, a very complicated shower and a smoke detector battery. Very convenient park at your door concept and room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and nice. Our room was actually two rooms, each with a large bed, which was a surprise. “The entire place smelled like marijuana, cigarette smoke, or fragrance to try and cover up the other smells. They are using the hotel for over flow of section 8 housing so there are homeless people all around the property and in the hotel. There were people doing drugs outside the hotel and no staff member did anything about it. I did not stay and asked for a refund where the staff was very dismissive. I ended up getting a refund from Expedia. I would not recommend this facility and do not...
