“Traveling with a service dog, I was denied entry by the receptionist. Would not accept that my dog was entitled to access even though I produced the service dog identification.I explained the motel was liable for a for a $10,000 fine, and had to threaten to call the police. Finally she called the manager, who thankfully sorted things out. Was not a good experience for a suffer of PTSD. When loading the car to depart at 6 am, i was locked out, as was another guest. “A comfortable stay at this modest motel. Everything worked well and the rooms were clean. Area was quiet day and night with a nice countryside feel. It was a means to an end really as there is limited accommodation options in Picton. The distance from town was too far to walk and taxi options are very limited. There is a nice restaurant attached with great dining options of good quality and reasonably priced. ”

“The size of the room was big and clean. There was a mini freezer. There was also a bathtub and a shower in the bathroom. The location was close to train station and National Park and it was very convenient and easy access to local restaurants and shops within walking distance. We stayed there to visit our friends who came from Jakarta.”

“Plenty of free parking available and surprisingly very quiet in the room considering the main road outside! Only thing I would suggest is perhaps having a sign to know where to check in as I wasn't too sure if it was done over the bar or what.”
