The staff tried to help me figure the status of the road closing keeping me from my home. Very kind”

It's very convenient to the Outer Banks and Alligator River NWR so it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, birders (like me!), and wildlife photographers. ”

“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Le foto del motel riprese dall'alto ingannano, così come le foto delle camere, sono proprio brutte; appena si entra si sente odore di muffa, il condizionatore fa freddo ma non toglie l'umidità e inoltre fa un rumore infernale. Siamo stati tre notti in questo posto e non hanno mai fatto le camere, cambiavano solo gli asciugamani. Bagno minuscolo. Pulizia da migliorare. Porta di ingresso indecente così anche quella specie di portico con due sedie un vaso con sabbia...

“Very clean. Everything was set up well to accomodate us. The o ly issue we had was we smelled cigarette smoke in the bathroom on and off. There wasn't a return air in there so it became stuffy quickly. ”

“As an older hotel, it has a few cosmetic things but nothing major. Very quiet but also off season- great rate!! We had an issue with the blow dryer which was taken care of very quickly by maintenance. Enjoyed our stay”
