Stone Cottage Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely comfortable stay at the Stone Cottage. We were surprised that the bathroom was out the back but the weather wasn't too cold so it was just fine.

A Regrettable Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: People need to be prewarned about the outside toilet and bathroom. We are in our 80s and this was important to us. Parts of the building were way below standard. Eg our bedroom window blew open overnight and needs attention. The barbequeue plate is rusty. Poor maintenance of grounds. Owner leaving old camper van next to front door. Overall there is no attempt to make you feel welcome. No milk in fridge, empty jar of sugar and it goes on and on. Even the key safe was broken.

A nice place to stay in Robe

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is full of character which we enjoyed. We loved the very convenient location. There was no fans or airconditioning which was a bit of a downside given it was quite hot during our stay.

Reviewer Comments: Quite possibly the worst holiday rental we have ever stayed in! On arrival there was mice poo in the beds. Further into the trip we realised it wasn't mice but RATS as they had eaten through boxes of food left in the kitchen. Food had to be disposed of. When using the outdoor area not only was the furniture uncomfortable, the BBQ that was provided pretty much fell apart when we went to use it as it was so old and worn out.

Robe is beautiful

Great house but disturbingly dirty on arrival - chewy in bath, vacuum cleaner clogged, floors dirty, food still in cupboard, crockery and cutlery all needed hot wash before use. Power tripped out during stay and turned off fridge requiring visit to agent and much rejigging of power points. HOWEVER, great family house and fantastic location.

Nice place to stay

Nic house in good location. Spacious and large enough for two families. Only downside was it would've been nice to have a few simple amenities like bin liners, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher soap and have the outside bun not full of rubbish.
