Our host for the Old Post Office was very accommodating. We arrived after the normal check-in time and she was very welcoming. Our room was immaculate and our shower had lots of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, including our coffees (flat white and vanilla latte). We also enjoyed the back patio area with plenty of seating. Definitely recommend this inn!”
“The place is an ancient inn in a wonderful spot of the countryside. Perfect for trips along Hadrian's wall or nice walks in the fields. No restaurants in the area except the inn's one, where it's possibile to eat until 8.30 pm. Excellent beer until late. The toilet area is really tiny, but the rooms are lovely.”

“Beautiful setting, nice hotel and amenities etc. Was disappointed with the soundproofing of the room as I could hear the people in room 9 snoring all Friday night ( I had little if any sleep) and I am registered partially deaf in both ears. I did comment to the receptionist in the morning and was told the rooms in the main house were better soundproofing as regards to maybe staying again in the future.”
