“I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley.

Food/drink in the bar well priced and tasty and busy place it was too.
Service excellent from all staff-no issues at all although busy little town so finding a parking place was the tricky part!!”
“Great little place to stay with a super comfortable bed. Nice size room with good amenities and a nice little balcony for an evening drink. Or there's a nice pub with good food just downstairs. If you're a light sleeper, the room we were in isn't the best option though as the door to the pub is right below the bed. But we slept great regardless. Definitely worth the money for a nice convenient stay. ”
“Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay.
Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too.
We’d highly recommend the Rose & Thistle and look...
“The views of the Simonside hills were wonderful The staff were amazing and the food wow thats the best lamb i ever had massive portions cooked to perfection. The cooked breakfast was wonderful again cooked to perfection. I cant wait to go back.”
“We stayed in the family room which was large and spacious.The food was great we had steak and Guinness pie which was lovely .The breakfast was great .An enjoyable area ,we will look to stay again to explore the area a bit more as we stayed here on our way to Scotland ”
“The place is an ancient inn in a wonderful spot of the countryside. Perfect for trips along Hadrian's wall or nice walks in the fields. No restaurants in the area except the inn's one, where it's possibile to eat until 8.30 pm. Excellent beer until late.
The toilet area is really tiny, but the rooms are lovely.”
