“The property is very well equipped, clean and tidy . Good shower plenty of hot water and heating. The main drawback for us personally was the very hard mattress in the main bedroom, the second double bedroom mattress was similar .The location is good for seeing Holy Island and also the Scottish borders but the A1 is a very busy road and was quite noisy. Northumberland is a beautiful county and well worth a visit. ”

“Excellent communication prior to our visit and during. Exceptionally clean, and well provided with kitchen equipment and lots of welcome gifts. Very easy access to A1 in a very quiet location. Good off- street parking. Highly recommended”

Posso dire che Amanda, la proprietaria, si è prodigata per trovarci un'altra sistemazione a sua spese, ma alla fine siamo stati una settimana in hotel, che non è il mio posto ideale dove passare le vacanze. Niente da dire sulla sua correttezza che è stata eccellente, ma purtroppo abbiamo avuto dei disagi”

“I am absolutely appalled with the property. It had not been cleaned from the previous people, there was rubbish everywhere glass on the floor, no bedding, no toilet roll, blood on the floor, the hot-tub was deflated and empty. We contacted the host who could not resolve the situation, he would also not answer a phone call. It was disgusting and I want a full refund.”

“The property was amazing and owners very flexible around arrival time and departure. Couldn’t fault it and would definitely choose to stay again. However very confusing that received 2 invoices - 1 from Homeaway and another from Crabtree and Crabtree. Confusing as to what was being paid for what. Slight problem with accidental damage to a door, money taken from my card within 2 days of departure and I was told C and C would negotiate with owners even though I informed the owner myself on...

“Perfect location to enjoy Alnwick and the surrounding area. An incredibly short work (30 seconds) into the town centre but still a really quiet location. The house was lovely and clean, with lost of space for a family of 4. First time visitors to Northumberland, we loved seeing the puffins on the Farne Islands and Alnwick was the perfect base with so many places to eat in the evening, we will be back.”
