“Lovely bungalow and a credit to Barbara. Spotless and located in Amble about 10 minutes from the harbour area. Parking is a bit tight as the property is on an estate road, but with the help of kind neighbours we managed our two cars absolutely fine. Would highly recommend and would happily book again if we returned to the area. 👍”

“Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time.”

“A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access.”

“We visited Driftwood for a long weekend. This was a really comfortable, well set up holiday home. Very well equipped, loads of games and puzzles, lots of beach’s equipment too. Embleton is a perfect base for exploring the area and is only about a 20 minute walk to the beach. From there you can of course walk for mikes and miles in either direction. 10/10”

“We love this part of the Northumberland coast and visit regularly, and we did have a good time. I do think this cottage is overpriced for the quality of accommodation. The kitchen and main bedroom are very nice but the rest is a little tired. The furniture is miss matched flat pack and the bedding is of poor quality. One of the sofas is very uncomfortable (kids said like their student digs) the curtains are far too thin and don’t keep the cold out, we had to buy a lot of wood to keep the lounge...

“We had a great stay as a group of friends. The photos really dont do it justice - there is plenty of space in this light, airy, gorgeous bungalow. Really enjoyed using the well-stocked kitchen and the hot tub was a lot of fun. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay.”

“Lovely, clean property in a great location. Everything as expected and house nice and warm. Only note, instructions say the key is at the back of the house where the parking is but the parking and the key holder is clearly at the front of the house - not sure how a simple instruction like this can be wrongly noted. Other than this, everything great and would recommend property.”

Our party consisted of 3 adults, 2 children and 2 labradors and the property served us well! Plenty of room. We appreciated the call from Dawn the day before to introduce herself and to ensure we had her number in case we needed it - we didn’t!”
