Cracker Box Palace a pochi passi dalla spiaggia!

Entra in questa adorabile cabina e senti lo stress scivolare via. Con splendide viste sull'oceano dal soggiorno e dalla cucina, puoi goderti il wavewatch a prescindere dal tempo! Quando sei pronto per giocare o semplicemente passeggiare, l'accesso alla spiaggia è a pochi passi. Questa casa recentemente ristrutturata è l'ideale per coppie o piccole famiglie.
La cucina è completamente attrezzata con tutto il necessario per gustare i pasti insieme. Ci sono due accoglienti camere da letto ciascuna con letti queen size e fascino cottage. Ogni camera è dotata di coperte e cuscini extra per farti stare comodo mentre ti addormenti ascoltando il ronzio dell'oceano. Il bagno principale è convenientemente vicino alla camera da letto principale e ha una sensazione di benessere, completa con un pavimento in pietra del fiume nella doccia per massaggiare quei piedi stanchi. Il bagno aggiuntivo si trova al piano inferiore con facile accesso dall'esterno per lavare via la sabbia dopo una giornata in spiaggia.
Clima tempestoso? Nessun problema, basta aggiungere un altro registro sul fuoco nel camino a legna, prendere un buon libro o guardare film con WiFi gratuito / via cavo o lettore DVD.
Il cuore del centro di Rockaway è a meno di un miglio di distanza, con numerosi negozi e ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi.

Great location, great host, great house. We had a great stay and the host was absolutely wonderful in responding to inquiries. One of the nicest homes we have stayed in. It looked new! Definitely added it to our list of wonderful beach homes for future stays.

Chill perfection

Stayed for four nights with adult child, their SO, and spouse. The host communicated clearly on booking, and well in advance of stay. Checking in was absolutely seamless.The house itself is both charming and designed to be easy to stay in, easy to keep clean. Kitchen included full sized refrigerator, every utensil we needed (cutting boards, wine tools, knives, coffee maker), and ample prep space. The views are spectacular, and the beach is literal steps away (access is down natural stone "stairs," so do consider this if any in your party has accessibility needs).Overall, this has been one of the best short term rentals I've ever experienced. Clean, well-maintained, intelligently appointed, easy-going but beautiful. My husband said it reminded him of the beach houses (and beach neighborhoods) of his 1970s childhood. Given the opportunity to stay here again, and longer, I'd jump at the chance.

Quiet place to stay

We spent two nights here and enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and had everything we needed - even shampoo and conditioner in the shower which we had forgotten. The house was very nicely decorated and had modern furnishings. We could see the beach from the front windows and it was less than a minute's walk to the beach. Would stay here again.

Beautifully Appointed and Beautiful Location

This house is a gem in an area that lacks sophisticated options! The house is cozy, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need to enjoy the shore. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is fully equipped, the tv has Roku if you want to watch a show at night. You are steps away from the beach. The town itself lacks healthy food options, so stock up on things before heading out.

Quiet and comfy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Steps from the beach, great views from the living area, a good selection of kitchen tools and pans, a quiet neighborhood, and only minor toddler-proofing required. Loved it!

Favorite home away from home

A lovely girls weekend

The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Easy check in and out. The place was clean and very comfortable. I was super impressed with the quality of design, layout and build of the house, very tastefully detailed. 10 out of 10 would recommend, thank you for sharing your space!

Cracker Box Palace was no cracker box! It was beautifully decorated and so very clean! We felt like we were the first to stay in your home complete with all the comforts of home. Our only complaint was we were unable to stream any TV and we were not familiar with how to operate Roku.

Exactly what you expect

Perfect house at a great price. We spent a day crabbing in nehalem bay which was a short drive away. The walk to the beach is a breeze (unless you have stability problems). We plan to return to this house for our next crabbing trip. Great kitchen setup and the open layout is great for families. Thanks!

Lovely home steps from the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is just steps away from the beach with a great view from the common areas. The host put much thought into making the home comfortable and welcoming. It has a split heat pump to keep the home warm and cooled, as well as a fireplace for those cool wintery days. Town is just down the street and there are plenty of restaurants both in town and near by. A couple of grocery stores as well with reasonable prices for items you might have forgotten. We will definitely return.

Beautiful Home

Even though not right on the ocean, the views were amazing. Clean, the kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Teflon pots and pans have seen better days. The beds were comfortable.

Trip to the Coast

We stayed on the coast for 4 nights before dropping our kids off at college. The cottage was quaint and quiet, close to a cute city with cafes and boutique shops. The host was very responsive and we had a nice stay.

So terrific! Cracker Box Palace is special. Comfortable, inviting and user friendly. Please don’t tell anyone about Rockaway Beach. It is a treasure with plenty of restaurant opinions and friendly people. Plus you can visit the busy tourist attractions to the north and south.

What it doesn't show is that the path to the beach is quite steep. Being in our 70's that was a bit of a surprise. Husband could not get down to the beach and the only reason I could is that my 22 year old grandson walked ahead of me and we took it one step at a time.
