Beautiful Home on 18 acres with view of Beaver Lake and lake access.

Come enjoy a relaxing retreat at our beautiful home that overlooks Beaver Lake! There is plenty of room for a large family or group. Features include lots of nature and wildlife in a serene setting on top of the hill with a wrap around deck with plenty of seating. Day bed swing , outdoor table and chairs with both charcoal and propane grills. Fully stocked large kitchen, washer and dryer. There are four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. On property is a fire pit and benches for great evening gatherings. For those cold weather nights we also have a wood burning stove to cozy up to. During summer months (weather and lake levels permitting), enjoy swimming or fishing in our secluded cove.

We had a wonderful stay on beaver lake. The house was great for our party of 8, the owners were very accommodating. The house and property were just as pictured. We will definitely be back! It was the perfect end to summer break.

Great house with a dock on a nice quiet cove but very close to Prarie Creek marina which is very convenient. We enjoyed hanging out on the large back deck in the evenings after a day on the lake. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to contact.

Brett and Jenny were great hosts. They provided great recommendations and communication was easy. Their home is beautiful and had ample space for all of us (4 families). Wonderful view from the deck. Very clean place and had everything we would need. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for making our trip even better!

Quiet Little Getaway

We had a wonderful time! The manager was very accommodating and responsive. The house had everything we needed to cook meals. The property is situated on top of a hill away from others (reason for the beautiful view and peacefulness). The walk down to the lake/dock is very steep. Note: you’ll want to bring tick spray. It became too much for a couple guests but we were able to drive them down in one of the larger vehicles. The kayaks were such a great addition. We spent most of our time down at the dock swimming and fishing. Bonus: the honeysuckle was in full bloom and you could smell it everywhere on the property!

Plenty of room and great view.

This house would be excellent for a large family or group as there is plenty of space. Kitchen is also well stocked. Owner is very responsive to questions. Great views from the lake. I enjoyed watching the deer and many birds. The only negative is it is not easy to access the lake from the house.

Perfect getaway!

Wonderful place to catchup with pals

Brent was a strong communicator and made our check-in and checkout seamless. The place is well stocked with cooking equipment and the grill was lovely to use. The porch swing was a fantastic place to veg and enjoy the last light. Id recommend this place to anyone.

DEFINITELY RETURNING

We got rained out of camping and needed a quick place to stay for our large family. The host was so friendly and phenomenal at communicating to help us get in last minute and operating smoothly. He answered all questions we had and offered suggestions. The patio is AMAZING for sitting on through the day with a great view of the lake. The kids enjoyed playing bags, having a campfire, and catching fireflies. It’s a short walk to the lake, rewarded with a great dock to jump off of to enjoy the lake. We loved it so much we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, overall a beyond great experience. Can’t wait to return!

Great Family Getaway

My husband and I traveled here for a family weekend getaway. We loved the house and the views. It was very peaceful. Communication was great. We loved sitting outside around the fire pit and having our dinner.

Solitude with a great view

Lovely property at the end of a short dirt road and with a somewhat steep climb. We were on big motorcycles but had no problem with that drive. The house is spacious, 3 bedrooms have a private bathroom and a fourth bedroom would have to share a bathroom. Privacy is guaranteed. The house is situated ABOVE Beaver Lake with a great deck with access to the lake but it requires a short walk and a climb back to the house We found the beds to be comfortable, the house was clean and the kitchen had every dish and utensil imaginable. Do bring your own soap and shampoo as none are provided, no biggie. The owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests, great communication. We loved our stay there and would return. Maybe next Bikes, Blues & BBQ?

Not As Expected

While the property manager was extremely kind and responsive to our feedback, it unfortunately did not make up for subpar experience. The house was very, very dirty: Hair on the bathroom sinks and in the showers. Layers of dirt on the carpet and floor. Beer cans and bottle caps around the fire pit. Unwashed sheets and towels. We actually washed the towels and sheets ourselves because they smelled. The manager did try to remedy this by having the cleaning lady come back to the house, but she left it in the exact same condition as before. On top of the general uncleanliness, the house was also infested with gnats in the bathrooms and kitchen. They got into all of our food, the coffee maker, everything. Another disappointment about the property was the dock and lake access. Prior to our check-in, we received a text from the manager reminding us of the great amenities like the swim dock and kayaks. However, when we want to check it out, the lake level was so low there was only about 12 inches of water off the dock and grass was growing where the lake used to be. Not something the property manager can control, obviously, though a heads up would've been appreciated so we could plan for other activities. The photos of the property show a manicured lawn and landscaping. But again, when we arrived that was not the case. The owners are turning the lawn into pollinator habitat, leaving no mowed lawn anywhere on the property for kids or dogs to play.

Great property - away and close

Everything was as expected and wonderful. We were informed that the lake levels were very low and that was the case. So low we were not able to swim in the cove. No fault of the property just a small disappointment. However, the location and view made up for it.
