“From the exterior of the building, I was thinking it wouldn't be good, However, I was pleasantly surprised that the inside had be updated. Lobby was acceptable, although it shares the space with the breakfast area. Pool was out of commission. The rooms were updated and clean. The shower was nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Wish they had better options for tv (horrible basic cable junk). Breakfast was mediocre. “Check in was the only okay part of this stay. The lady at the front desk was nice. Besides that, a terrible stay (both rooms): Rusted stairs outside, loud rooms, wood on the doors pulled apart or bent as if doors were broken into repeatedly. The bolt lock was broken, bugs all over the floor in each room (flies and crickets), TV not functional (stuck on setup) - we switched rooms due to this, and the AC took a while to cool. The pool was filled with wood and unusable. The beds were alright but...

“I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is newer so everything was nice and up to date. The young man that checked me in was very nice and the included breakfast was good.”

“Power went out at 9 PM and was still not back on at 8 AM when we left. Room had no emergency lighting and by morning the hall and stair lighting had failed, leaving the stairs dark very dangerous. No breakfast due to no power. Couldn't raise the shades to let in morning light because they are powered by electricity. No luggage cart upon check in. A backup generator should be added. ”

“I’m not sure how this place had good reviews. The room stunk like really bad mildew. Half of the outlets didn’t work and the breakfast was a joke. The outside entrance is in really bad need of repair. It just seems like no maintenance has been done in a very long time! On a good note, the receptionist was a really sweet lady!”

“This is overall a great place to spend the night. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The continental breakfast had a good variety of items. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. The only takeaway was the air conditioner didn't work very well. I woke up a few times in the middle of the night and the room was very humid. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.”

“Our shower had a crack in it, it was covered but the tape was coming off. The crack was soft around it. If you accidentally stepped by it, you got a sinking feeling. It has to be something that isn’t safe.”
