My Margutta Loft - a stroll away from Spanish Steps

Unique loft renovated in 2020 located at the ground floor of an ancient building of 1700 between Piazza del Popolo, Via del Babuino and Via del Corso and very close to Piazza di Spagna.
It can host up to three guests. Possibility to put a free baby crib ( on request).

From the entrance you have the view over the main living area with one king size bed, a large crystal dining table , two leather sofas and a Flat screen tv.
The kitchen is fully furnished with dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine with free pods for your stay.
You'll find all the necessary if you want to cook during your stay.
There is one second private bedroom with a single bed for a third guest
The bathroom is fully furnished with shower.
Air conditioning hot and cold . Free Wifi.
At your arrival you'll find some bedsheets and towels for your stay.

Other things to note
The loft is located in the heart of the historic center where cars without a permit can not access. If you're planning to come by car I suggest you to park along the TIber and reach me by walk ( 5 - 10 min walk)
The loft is renovated and I kindly ask my guests to take care of it!
You'll find some recycling instructions inside the loft.
At your arrival there is the city tourist tax to pay in cash of 6 euros per person per day ( children under 10 are exempted).

If you are coming from Fiumicino Airport you can take a taxi or I can arrange for you a private car transfer ( 75 € price - Mercedes Car) . If you plan to come by public transports you can take the train from Fiumicino Airport to Roma Termini Train Station and from there take the underground A and stop at Spagna or Flaminio . The apartment is at 10 min walk.
If you are coming by car you can park along the Lungotevere and then walk for 10/12 min walk.
We are in the historic center and you cannot have access with the car without a permit .
In any case I will be happy to assist you and give you all the tips and advices on how to reach me!

Great Location

Great 4 night stay in Rome. Stefano's place is exactly as shown in the photos. The home is a bit dark as there are few windows and lighting could be better. However, the location is very quiet and main attractions are walkable in 30 minutes or less. We would stay again.

Great “Rome Home”

Nice quiet spot close to all of Rome’s historic attractions. Car service made getting from the airport to the Loft with Stefano waiting to welcome us was perfect.

Very accommodating host! Great space!

Our flight was arriving before check-in time. Host allowed us to drop our bags off in the apartment early with no charge and then return at check-in time. He also offered (and we accepted) to arrange a private car service to pick up me and my guest at the airport. That was so nice to not have to worry about after a long flight! The space was clean and comfortable. It was literally around the corner from restaurants and shops, and a short walk to a central plaza. The only thing that could have possibly improved was the air conditioner seemed rather finicky to operate but that could be me used to my love of American central AC! 😆 Would 100% stay here again!

Great Location, Apartment Not as Advertised

First of all, there is no hidden loft or loft at all. The unit is a first floor apartment with the main bedroom below street level. The entire building smells of water damage and very musky. The washer did not work at all and the air condition unit was out during our stay, making it extremely hot in the main bedroom. My daughter had to sleep in our room as her room did not have air condition, a fan or a window. Water leaking out of the air condition. Appliances and air condition were not checked to be in working order before our arrival. 2 nights of heat and no option to wash clothes as advertised. The host was less than accommodating as he only refunded us 50 percent after a miserable stay of a leaking air condition that did not work and no washer. His justification was that the temperature was not high enough to affect us. Outdated, not as advertised in any way and a huge disappointment. There are several better choices in the same area

Fabulous location

We loved the ground floor location and the close proximity to the Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps and an easy walk to other historic sites. The apartment was spacious with quality furniture and the kitchen was well equipped with new appliances. Stefano is a very accomodating host and we had a lovely check in with his sister Raffaela. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location. Within walking distance of many sites, shops and restaurants. Unit was well appointed. Great to have someone there to greet you and show you all the amenities. Took subway from train station, as suggested, but can also get there by taxi. Three adults works, but just a little crowded. Would stay there again.
