“We really enjoyed our stay in this 1700s stone house. Williamsburg, Va and the Duke of Gloucester Street has always been one of our favorite locations for it's history and ambivalence. Standing in this house and imagining the history these windows have witnessed is truly staggering. Cannons produced for George Washington's army leaving the forge heading to face the British military is one small segment of it's history. Truly a step back in time. “Everything was great! The house is beautiful and the grounds are so pretty. There are many thoughtful touches and the space is very comfortable. I also liked that the house is set back so far from the road - it was very peaceful. We definitely hope to stay here again the next time we visit. ”
