Una grande e tradizionale Bastide su tre livelli, sapientemente ristrutturata e arredata secondo uno standard di lusso. Un appartamento si trova al piano terra con accesso interno ed esterno. Una caratteristica della Bastide, situata vicino all'ingresso principale, è un antico Lavoir trasformato in una peschiera e circondato da terrazze. Il giardino sul lato sud è adagiato sul prato con ulivi e alberi da frutto e aiuole, ma la caratteristica principale è una grande piscina a sfioro a forma libera e spiaggia. Una piscina di alto livello è una caratteristica centrale. Grandi terrazze circondano la casa e la piscina, un bagno con doccia, cucina estiva con barbecue a gas e un campo da bocce completano le strutture esterne. Una veranda che corre lungo i due lati della casa al primo piano offre una grande terrazza per la vita all'aperto e l'ombra al piano terra. Dal giardino e dalla terrazza si può ammirare una vista in lontananza sul mare. Sedie e tavoli da giardino sono forniti. La proprietà è coperta intorno al confine e vi è un ampio parcheggio.


Servizi locali: Roquefort les Pins ha pittoreschi negozi locali, un supermercato e ristoranti che offrono un eccellente rapporto con una cucina superba (l'Auberge du Colombier è stato pubblicato sulla rivista British Airways) e La Table de Mon Moulin è una fantastica esperienza gastronomica e il vecchio mulino è affascinante.
La villa si trova a 10 minuti in auto dal vivace borgo medievale di Valbonne con i suoi numerosi ristoranti, gallerie e negozi e il vivace mercato del venerdì.

Cose da fare: Il villaggio di Roquefort confina con il campo da golf Opio-Valbonne con campi da golf aggiuntivi a Biot, Mougins e Mandelieu tutti facilmente raggiungibili. I servizi sono vari: tennis club (a Le Vignal a Opio, Villeuneuve-Loubet) equitazione (San Giorgio a Villeneuve Loubet, Plascassier). Alcune delle passeggiate più spettacolari della Costa Azzurra sono tutte a portata di mano.
Le spiagge di Juan les Pins, Antibes, Golfe Juan e Cannes si trovano a 30 minuti di macchina dalla villa. Spiagge di ciottoli a Villeneuve Loubet vicino a Marineland.



Distanze: Il villaggio più vicino è il villaggio di Valbonne a 5 minuti di macchina dalla villa. Valbonne ha molti buoni ristoranti, terrazze, banche, uffici postali, negozi e boutique. Un mercato settimanale il venerdì Guidare nella direzione opposta è Biot a 10 minuti di macchina. Ben noto per il suo soffio di vetro. Cannes è a 25 minuti di macchina. Marineland con i suoi spettacoli di delfini e orka è a 20 minuti di macchina.

As others have said the photos somehow don't do justice to this beautiful house, not because they're inaccurate but more that they fail to capture the warmth and feeling of it. The garden and pool are just great, so much space and choice of outdoor seating - I'm not sure we managed to try them all! Fabulous views from the terrace by the kitchen, I think I watched the sunrise every morning from the master bedroom! Because the house is also a home it is incredibly well provisioned, furnished and thoughtfully curated. Our 17 year old son is a cyclist and the area is perfect for those who love hills! Our daughter had a great week at the Morataglu tennis academy which is just 15 mins drive away. The coast is only 15-20 mins drive so it's easy to explore the beautiful beaches and towns. It's also well placed to visit the many stunning mountain villages, Biot and Valbonne were our favourites. Our holiday was made even better by Blandine who greeted us on our arrival (despite being so much later than planned), she was so friendly and welcoming and immediately sorted any questions, including finding cycling friends and booking a tennis court. She went above and beyond what is usually expected of a property manager. We'd love to return next year if we can!

We stayed here in early July 2024. The property exceeded expectations in all respects, it looked good in the photos, but it was even better in real life. It was clean and private, with lots of different areas to hang out in. Just hanging out by the pool was great, but there is also plenty to see and do in the area, and Blandine was particularly helpful with advice, our only regret is some of the trips we made that we didn't get her advice on before (like don't go to Grasse, go to Eze instead). Anyway, even though it was a bit of a long trip for us from New York, it was well worth it, and we would love to come again. Paul & Alex

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave! Exceeded our expectations and it is difficult for pictures to sum up the beauty of this home, pool and garden. House is full of character, comfort and attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean and the welcome treats much appreciated. We especially loved the top notch outside kitchen and terrace with wonderful views. It was hard to tear ourselves away to do some sight seeing! Best holiday home we have stayed in 😊 Great communication and welcome from Patrick, Narelle, Jo and Blandine. Thank you Blandine for your warm welcome/ introduction to house and being so responsive. This beautiful revived farmhouse surpassed all of our expectations! We all gasped when we arrived... the decor and surrounding property were pristine, and showcased the love that the owners have for the magical place they call home.The little town of Roquefort-Les-Pins was very quaint; with locals that were more than helpful and very friendly. We used this home as our base to travel to surrounding towns; some of our favourites included Nice, Monaco, St Paul de Vence, Eze, Cannes, and last but not least, the little neighbouring town of Valbonne. A must see! We were all sad to leave, but hope to return one day... Many thanks to the owners and property manager for your attention to detail and for always being available with anything that we needed. Your advice for places to visit and restaurants to eat at were fantastic!

The property is every bit as beautiful as the photos suggest. The garden and pool are idyllic and immaculately maintained. The house itself is delightful; so many personal touches make it a home from home. We had a fantastic time exploring the stunning towns along the coast and inland. We always looked forward to returning to the tranquility of the villa. Blandine was always available if we had any queries whatsoever. All in all, a wonderful family holiday at Stella Maris.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette villa ! Elle est remarquablement bien équipée, avec tout à disposition; cafetière Nespresso, serviettes, papier toilette, produits à moustiques, savons etc etc . La piscine et le jacuzzi, sont également un vrai plus ! Par ailleurs, la villa est très bien située, avec tous les commerces à 5 minutes en voiture. Blandine était là pour nous accueillir et nous aider dans la prise en main de la villa, avec de charmantes attentions à notre disposition ; vin, plateau de fromages, corbeille de fruits, pain etc Ce qui fût très appréciable après un long trajet ! Un sans faute absolu, que nous avons déjà décidé de revenir l’été prochain ! Encore merci pour tout et à l’année prochaine !

Wow, what a property. Besides its stunning appearance (the photos do NOT do this place justice, and we knew it would be luxurious, but wow - it's jaw-droppingly beautiful!) - there was absolutely EVERYTHING you could possibly need for your stay - we didn't need to buy anything other than food and drink! You'll find dishwasher tablets, toilet roll, tissues, shampoo & conditioner, washing up liquid, BBQ grill cleaner, soap, every utensil you can imagine in the incredible outdoor kitchen (and the multiple other kitchens!), First Aid kit, multiple hairdryers, all the washing liquid/stain removers for clothes you can imagine...these things not only save you a few pennies, buy it just continues the theme that everything had been thought of for the guests. It was spotless throughout and so much thought had clearly gone into renovating and decorating this family home. We will probably come back next year, as we also discovered the gorgeous local village of Valbonne and a fabulous Bistro restaurant on the last night nearby - which we probably would have eaten at every night if we'd found it sooner! Overall one of the best holiday experiences I've had.

Beautiful and stunning house with the most fantastic original features to keep the French old house. Outdoor kitchen was our place to do ALL meals. Great pool and big house with separate apartment in the basement to a couple. We will recommend the house to all and it´s close to beautiful small country areas and grocery.

Voor de tweede keer in dit schitterend huis verbleven. Zeer vriendelijk te woord gestaan door zowel eigenaars als gastheer. Het huis heeft alles voor een perfecte vakantie aan de Côte d’Azur. Het is bijzonder charmant en stijlvol ingericht. Wij vonden de uitgebreide buitenkeuken ook een groot pluspunt, evenals het mooie zwembad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was amazingly well equipped, offering everything we could need for a stress free stay. The house and pool are beautiful and welcoming. We especially loved spending warm afternoons in the pool. Ed was helpful when we needed to contact him.

Vi boede i 14 dage i Stella Maris huset. Huset er utroligt smukt og indrettet med spændende detaljer fra Middelshavsregionen. Udendørskøkkenet er super og poolen meget smuk. Beliggenheden er 5 min i bil fra byområde, så man skal absolut have en bil for at komme rundt. Der er mange interessante steder at besøge i alle retninger fra huset.

We've spent a lovely week with our friends in Jo's house. The house is charming and very well equipped. We've spent most of our time outside, especially in the outdoor kitchen. We loved the house and hope to come again soon. Also the communication with Ed was easy.

The house is lovely, very well located for sightseeing and only a quick car trip from the airport. The property Manager was very helpful. There is a lovely patisserie in the town and a lovely restaurant named Auberge at the roundabout by the supermarket and a few other nice restaurants within 3 to 4 minutes drive. We had an excellent holiday but a couple of things to be aware of......the owners are about to instal aircon in some parts of the house. It really needs it. It was going in just after we left so should be operating now. There are lots of stairs in the property. If you have small children or older people in the group it's worth considering. Not villa related but may be useful......car hire queues at Nice are horrendous. If you can book anything with "priority" status it's worth doing. We didn't and waited 2.5 hours to collect a car.

The house and gardens are even bigger than the pictures let on. The many kitchens are all really well-equipped. The outside kitchen in particular (equipped with barbecue, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc.) was a big hit with our party and made it so easy to eat outside on the ground floor without having to carry dishes and food up and down stairs. The bedrooms were very comfortable, albeit a bit warm at night as we kept the windows shut and fans on to avoid mosquito bites (to be clear there were mosquito nets above the beds on the 1st floor, but they're not everybody's cup of tea. Air con or nets on the windows themselves would have been absolute perfection). The house itself has a really homely feel to it and is decorated with artifacts from all around the Mediterranean. The pool and jacuzzi were really lovely and did wonders at the end of a very hot summer day (they're also lit at night until about 11:30pm, practical for an evening swim). I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for some relaxing times in a charming setting.

It is very apparent the talent, time and care the owners put into this place to make it as special as it is. It was both a great home base as we toured nearby towns as well as it allowed us days to relax and soak up the lovely weather & peaceful grounds. My favorite was the outdoor kitchen! And the herb garden. And the hammocks, lounge chairs, manicured lawns & gardens. The luxurious bathrooms .... Everything was perfect. Only wish was air condition. We had a couple hot & muggy nights and keeping windows and fans on during night was fine except it also let in pesky mosquitos. Mosquito nets were quaint but I personally couldn't sleep with them. Overall would recommend this for families ( my kids loved house as much as I did!) as well as romantic getaway.

We verbleven een week in dit schitterende huis. De inrichting zowel binnen- als buitenshuis is met veel aandacht voor detail en smaak gedaan. Het zwembad is fantastisch, net als de buitenkeuken, het dakterras, de slaapkamers, eigenlijk alles. De ligging is erg gunstig, diverse leuke plaatsen in de buurt, maar eigenlijk hoef je de deur niet uit bij een huis met zoveel luxe. Wij raden dit verblijf iedereen aan.
