Had a great stay! Host communicated throughout with any issues during my stay. Had lots of fun finding the cabin with the UTV. We had some difficulty finding the cabin at first but had the map and arrows that host provided along the roads to find the cabin. Overall was not too stressful to find and a very relaxing stay thereafter!

We loved the cabin itself; quiet, remote, and comfortable (hot tub worked great). Unfortunately, the overall experience was unsafe and poorly managed.After a major snowstorm, access requires a UTV on a private unpaved road. We were given no warning that the snow was deep enough for the UTV to get completely stuck (it did, about 1/4 mile from the house). We ended up trudging through knee-deep snow in -2 weather to reach the property and make multiple exhausting trips to carry our belongings. What’s most frustrating is it appeared the owner/caretaker had recently been stuck in the exact same spot! (as the tracks/footprints showed), yet still didn’t warn us. When we called, he said he wasn't even aware we were there!Once there, the cabin had NO SNOW SHOVEL or basic snow supplies... in a remote Catskills property. The owner’s “local friend” was unhelpful and ultimately didn’t show when we left; we had to walk the full distance out with our luggage, then got a text saying he “overslept.”We’re experienced and had ski gear packed, but the first night was genuinely dangerous. We both sustained mild frostbite on our toes and fingers. This could easily ruin someone else’s trip. Great cabin, but the lack of preparation, communication, and support makes this hard to recommend in winter conditions.

The hot tub is Very new but if your not familiar with hot tubs Doing the self test is easy How to interpret and add the chemicals is different But the hot tub Manuel was avail on lineWe did not use the utv as there was No rain for the entire week We felt we needed to be back by nightfall as the dirt rocky road is tricky my outback had no problem But if it did rain and there was more road erosion the utv would have to be used the dish washer did not work and was filled with dirty dishes Not an issue for me I do not use dish washer at allthe host answered all my questions quickly if you have mobility issues this is might not be the place for you the king size bed is climbing a ladder the bed is comfortable if your there for solitude this is the place only deer . Flickers bees rabbits new appliances lots of hot water the leaves are turning
