“Super nice staff, very friendly and overall a cosy hotel! Despite it being booked out, the spa area was not crowded, and it felt like a super relaxing time! Spa treatments were excellent as well and the food was very special! Great place, would come back anytime ”

“Nice hotel, looks new and updated compared to other hotels in Germany. Very friendly staff! Great drinks at the bar and good breakfast. My only complaint would be the small bathroom/shower but thats par for the course in Germany. Will definitely stay here again next year! ”

“Great for walking or bike riders. Easy drive to dozens of historic towns in Thüringen for daily trips. Impressive staff all around. 5 star service received. Great food, all top level. Worth a revisit.”

“The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Everyone from the owners who made you feel like family to all the servers were excellent. The owners spoke English. Although Steffi did not speak a lot of English she tried and always had a smile and was delightful. The tub was an unexpected surprise but a very good surprise. There was also a shower. I highly recommend this gasthof and if we come back we will definitely stay here again.”

“Lothar-Mai-Haus besticht durch die tolle Lage mitten in der Natur. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück bei gutem Wetter auf der Sonnenterasse - einfach genial. Dazu Wellness und hier besonders die Bergsauna mit tollem Blick ins Grün. Leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service ... Ein rundum Wohlfühlpaket ...”

“Waren zwar nur einen Tag vor Ort aber jederzeit gerne wieder. Riesige saubere Zimmer, nettes Personal, genügend Parkplätze hier passt alles”

“Wir waren anlässlich des Kristallmarathons hier. Da es am Wettkampftag früh los ging, hat das Hotel den Laufgästen ein frühes Frühstück angeboten. Nicht selbstverständlich und mega zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Essen im Hauseigenen Restaurant war auch sehr lecker und ist zu empfehlen. ”

“Utilizzato di passaggio x lavoro. Bagno nuovo con accessori (pettine, cotton fioc…) che in altri hotel non ci sono. Unica pecca alla sera quando arrivato c’era una signora anziana che parlava solo In tedesco… intuendo qualche parola ho preso le chiavi e sono andato in camera. Essendo comodo all’auto strada la struttura è silenziosa e pulita 👍”
