The Space:

25A Hideaway sits behind its own gate at the end of a private driveway - a comfortable, single-level home in the quiet eastern suburb of Ōwhata. The open-plan living area is the heart of the home, with a big corner sofa, a smart TV and fast wifi, flowing through to the dining table and a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast-bar seating and a full oven. Sliding doors open onto a private deck with outdoor furniture and a BBQ - a relaxed spot for dinner while the kids play on the fully fenced lawn. The three bedrooms sleep six: a king and a queen (both opening onto the deck), plus a third with two single beds. Two bathrooms keep mornings simple, and there's a washing machine and dryer in the garage for longer stays.

The Neighborhood:

25A Hideaway is in Ōwhata, a quiet residential suburb on Rotorua's eastern side, close to the shores of Lake Rotorua. The Eastside shops and supermarket are a short drive away for everyday essentials, and the city centre - with its restaurants, Eat Streat and the lakefront - is around 11 minutes. The Redwoods (Whakarewarewa Forest) mountain bike trails, Hells Gate geothermal park and the Rotorua lakes are all within easy reach.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to get around Rotorua, and the gated driveway gives you secure off-street parking for several vehicles. By car, Rotorua Airport is just 4 minutes away, the Redwoods around 8, Hells Gate about 10, and the city centre roughly 11. Local buses run along Te Ngae Road nearby if you're travelling without a car.



Other Things to Note:

A few handy things to know: the property is fully gated and fenced, which is great for families and for keeping little ones safe in the backyard. The king and queen bedrooms both open onto the deck. There's a washing machine and dryer in the garage for longer stays. WiFi runs at a fast 511 Mbps.
