Cottage a Round Hill

“With bedrooms and sitting rooms on 3 floors, our 3-generation family enjoyed having space to gather together as well as space for time apart. The decks allowed for additional places to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lake access was great for swimming and kayaking.”

“My husband and I went for a short trip. The communication was great and the house was perfect! We spent most of our time in the hot tub checking out the amazing view.”

“The property was absolutely beautiful. The view of the lake was so pretty. Communication with the host was wonderful very informative. Very cozy and the house was beautiful inside.”

“Amazing getaway to focus on writing.”

“What can we say? The cottage was quite charming, cozy and delightful. Well-appointed with just the proper touches. The thoughtful information provided with a nicely stocked kitchen, easy to work TV, comfy couch to nap on, it had it all. The perfect size and place for couple to stay comfortably for a getaway. The cottage exceeded our expectations upon our arrival, out shining the pictures on the website. Aspen Hill Cottage is the perfect destination in a beautiful area, to stay, relax,...

“This cute little cottage (a converted carriage house) was perfect for my stay in Harper's Ferry. The cottage was well maintained, clean and cozy. I would definitely stay there again - particularly if I came in a car (it is near the top of a tall hill, and I came by bike off the C&O towpath, which was a climb!). Notes: (1) there are two rentals with the same address, a house and this carriage house out back. I had a mildly embarrassing moment when I showed up and tried to enter the wrong house....

“Perfect location! We love to walk everywhere we can and explore and from the house you can get to lower town Harpers Ferry and all the little restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops along the way. The recommendations provided were all great and Snallygasters across the street, Rabbit Hole, Bolivar Bread Bakery, and Epigram Coffee (don’t forget the pastries) were all amazing. Harpers Ferry is just an overall friendly town and even more pet friendly everywhere!! House was all we needed for a nice...

“Absolutely adorable, perfect location and well appointed. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend and maybe if you’re lucky you’ll meet the little black cat who visited us!!”

“The host was attentive to our request before arrival, and again on the first day. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. It feels like a museum of fine art. The upstairs bathroom with shower is really nice. There is a powder room downstairs. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic and has everything you need, and more! Easy walking distance to downtown. It's a great location. We highly recommend this VRBO home. Thank you very much! It's a treasure!”

“We enjoyed our stay and certainly return. Our group was 2 couples and 2 children.Everyone had enough space to be comfortable. The view is beautiful so we enjoyed our time at the house. While in the area, we visited Skyline Caverns and the Shenandoah River. I did have a challenging time getting Door Dash to the house. After 30 minutes of seeing the driver in the neighborhood we got in the car to track down the driver. Her cell service was poor so we were unable to communicate. If I ordered...

“Great host communication. Place was beautiful. Loved the hot tub. Kitchen well stocked. Indescribable views and sunsets. Very quiet and peaceful. We were in the area to golf for several days and totally enjoyed our stay. The road in and out were a bit challenging but the unique setting and gorgeous house made that trivial. Highly recommend.”

“Enjoyed our stay, house was beautiful and clean. Coffee in the morning with the deer was awesome. Love the neighborhood cat Luna.”
