Hotel a Round Lake

“The hotel room was clean, with a pleasant, fresh linen scent. The beds were comfortable. While the room could benefit from some minor repairs, other than that, it was an excellent stay.”

“I had to call him 3 times to come down and check me in. Didn’t start out good.A place to rest your head.We didn’t touch the breakfast.Not so appealing.”

“My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area.”

“I used to stay in Jackson when traveling for business, however I could not take the Hotels in that town, so Picked Worthington instead. Was 100 percent a good decision. Way nicer hotel, the food at breakfast was good, room was clean , staff was friendly. Much better choice than anywhere in Jackson to stay. Will stay here every time going for business from this point forward. Food was easy to find around the hotel for dinner and was a just a better experience then what I'm used too when having to...

“Wifi and television did not connect so we were unable to work on our computers or even watch local channels. Room was poorly lit and smelled stale. Bathroom is cramped with poor venting and extremely small shower stall. Walls are extremely thin; can hear people clearly in the hall and next door. Overall was a bed to sleep in and nothing more.”

“Room was clean, hallways were showing a little wear. Beds were due for a pad or replacement, springs could be felt. Breakfast was decent along with the location. Staff were friendly, would stay again.”

“The staff was very welcoming and available. We enjoyed a drink at the bar later in the evening. The bartender ensured we were happy with our drinks! The breakfast room was a long way from our room and there was a problem with the decaf coffee - a minor inconvenience. The pool was even further away but, we ended up with no extra time to swim anyway. Our rooms were comfortable and clean.”

“Front desk had so much stuff and junk in the lobby area. Did not look clean at all. Front desk came in bare foot. Was friendly, but... Room was okay. Hallway stunk. Did not feel safe at all. Pool was not working and room was full of boxes. Husband asked about coffee. Front desk response was, "we.can get some for you". Buildings were not maintained. Description on line was disceptive. Flies in room. Window screen was broken. Left before 6:00 am. Checked for bugs. Was not a good...

“Terrible, no me gustó para nada!!!!”

“Nice room with a whirlpool (that we didn't use) adjoining a nice terrace (that we didn't use because it was so hot outside). Option for a couple of different breakfast times in the little dining room (7 or 8:30) or you could get breakfast delivered at 8am. It was homemade biscuits and an egg bake, which was tasty. If we return to the Okoboji area again some day, we would certainly consider returning.”
