“cool historic property. Just know that your room is going to face a busy major Fargo street, regardless of which room you are assigned. The rooms have no sound proofing. (more on that later). Fargo is a major motorcycle city in the summer, so, traffic and loud bikes, until around sunset, are it seems almost constant. Back to the noise. Staying on the 2nd level, the first level with guest rooms, the sound of the occupant in the room above me was also quite irritating. Whoever had that room...

“We asked for Softer pillows. And was told they didn’t have any only larger ones for the king beds. Breakfast area there wasn’t any half&half for coffee staff we friendly thx”

“Check in started at 4pm which is later than most other hotels and even though a room was ready earlier, the front desk staff wanted to charge an extra $25 for early check in. We waited until 4 because that didn’t seem worth it. On previous stays at this hotel, we have always had a great stay, but the breakfast this time was not well stocked and we ended going out to eat instead. Other than that a good stay.”

“The General Manager, Rachelle Lucien, was very helpful when my friend became I'll. She offered to assist in a prescription pickup if needed. The hotel is clean. Several areas need to be brought up to usual Fairfield standards. The bathroom (room 206) in the room had some mold in the grout. The door seal leaked and cuddled on the floor. Also, the hot water faucet in the sink looked new but was difficult to turn on/off.”

“The staff were courteous . The hotel should let travelers know that the wifi connection is unsecured and a risk for guests. I called down to the front desk before getting the password and the staff did not know if it was a secure WIFI connection. They gave me a the room code, and I used my own new password for the access. I only found out was I logged out. The Hotel ran out of office on Thursday morning for over an hour. Breakfast/ Coffee starts late 7:30am.”
