“We enjoyed excellent food throughout our stay. The choice of freshly cooked breakfasts was very good, and then in the evenings we ate in the restaurant which had a wide selection of food on two different menus. One menu was classic Pub food and the other was Indian, with dishes specially created by an award winning chef. “I stayed here on my own after an all day work gathering, whilst there are excellent eateries around, I took some food back to my room because it is so nice and homely after a full day out. The decor and furnishings are absolutely beautiful and made my stay very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly and pleasant. ”

“Second visit to this hotel and really enjoyed the comfortable bed, lovely spa and good bar food. It is a little remote so not ideal if you need to be right on top of things but the nearby town of Bicester covers that.”

“Quite a tired structure, with unjustified air of superior class. Very good location. Rooms barely acceptable for the category. ”

“This is a lovely thoughtfully styled hotel. The staff are all genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Decent water pressure in the shower. Generous supply of tea/coffee in room. Variety of tasty options on the dinner menu. The Full English Breakfast is a must have. Good central location for sightseeing. Would highly recommend and definitely would return. ”
