“This was in a lovely location and the Manor and grounds are immaculately kept. They have lots of little touches that make your stay more personal, like jute bags and eye masks in your room, ice creams round the pool area etc. The service is excellent and the staff are lovely and really make your experience here unforgettable. It was a wonderful stay!”

“Beautiful setting. Great and spacious bedroom and bathroom suite. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens which were quiet. At present their restaurant and spa are closed which was disappointing. I would recommend having a car to stay here as it isn’t possible to walk anywhere and it is c30 minutes in a taxi to Cape Town and 15 minutes to Hout bay. We had expected to be able to eat in the hotel. ”

“Hotel in ottima posizione, nel verde, silenzioso ed accogliente. Camera ampia, sulla corte interrna. Ottimo il servizio in camera e la scelta di ristoranti all'interno. Una navetta su prenotazione rende facilissimo e poco costoso raggiungere il waterfront si Cape Towm. Raccomando certamente”

“L’albergo si trova vicino al Waterfront di Cape Town. Quindi in una zona che ti permette di raggiungere facilmente uno delle aree più conosciute della città. Tuttavia, la sera non è raccomandabile uscire da soli. La zona di sera è frequentata – così come molte altre parti della città – da gente con grosse difficoltà economiche, che non avendo nulla da perdere sono disposte a un qualsiasi atto di violenza anche per pochi spiccioli. In questi casi è sempre raccomandabile non reagire, ma limitarsi...

“We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! ”
