“Quirky and lovely “cabin” with great view of Lake Wakatipu and good access to some nearby hikes. The cabin was beautiful and had all the bells and whistles and tech amenities you could want. Loved the idea of the full screen and TV but we couldn’t bear to bring down the shade on that great view, so decided TV was not a priority. Loved the hot tun shared only by the few cabins. Took advantage of yoga in the yurt and dinners on the property (not many other dining options nearby!) ”

“I must admit that when my husband said "ecolodge" and "composting toilets" I was a little wary. From arrival we were blown away by the beauty of the property and friendliness of the staff. We were so impressed that we weren't even unpacked and we were discussing extending our stay. We dropped one of our planned stops on our trip to NZ just to stay here longer.
