“A charming hotel from an older era with 2 excellent restaurants. Furnishings are a little dated and hot water takes a long time to reach the bathroom, but that just adds to it’s faded elegance.”

“Booked the cheapest room in the hotel of 10m2 which must have been the worst room in the hotel. The window faced a corridor and not outside. The room and the elevator did not smell clean. The light from the elevator to the room did not turn on so my dog was too scared to walk and enter the dark bedroom from the lift. The receptionist did not speak English and the final straw was that there was no wifi ”

“Staff was very helpful with arranging a taxi to the Vimy memorial and very accommodating in letting us store our bags after checkout time until our train departure. Room was clean and as advertised. Hotel is an easy walk to all the sites. Would stay here again.”
