“The Guinness Arms had character rooms and the hallway was just as nice. Our room had aircon and also a skylight which had retractable blinds if you wanted to look at the sky or not. “Lovely old building and staff were amazing. So friendly. Breakfast was also really lovely. However it was soooo hot in our room. Unbearable in fact. Not the hotels fault and they did provide fans. But the windows barely opened and the fans only circulated hot air. Maybe just stay in the winter!”

“Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend ”
