“This hotel is one of a kind - all details are thought of for you so you can just come and enjoy. We had the kaiseki beef dinner as well and it was delicious. Steps away from Yasaka pagoda for after dinner stroll.”

“This was the perfect hotel for me and my teenaged son. We were close to a lot of the sites I wanted to see and a quick bus ride from the heart of Kyoto that he wanted to experience. The hotel itself was charming and spacious. Especially after spending a few days in Tokyo, the room felt massive. Two double beds, a living area with TV, separate WC and separate tub/shower. The staff was enthusiastic and cheerful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Superb hotel!”

“Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung in der Nähe des Kiyomizu-dera. Sehr durchdachte Einrichtung. Nach Gion Zentrum 15 Minuten Fußweg. Steile Stufen ins 1. Geschoss ( Schlafzimmer und Tatami-Raum). Sehr schöner Miniaturgarten vor dem Badezimmer. Klimatisierung in jedem Raum. Die Wohnung macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Wir haben dort zwei schöne Wochen verbracht.”

In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. Some of the nearby dining was fantastic and less than a two minute walk from the hotel. Hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. ”

“We had an authentic Japanese experience staying here. The location was perfect - the house was on a quiet street while still being very close to the main attractions in the Gion area. The interior was beautiful, clean and well insulated with heated floors and AC in each room. Beds were very comfortable and the upstairs living offered a lovely veiw of the Yasaka Pagoda.
