“Staff and room were both excellent. Restaurant is on site. The hotel fronts a main road with a traffic light directly in front of the hotel. Traffic is very noisy accelerating from the light, especially for a room close to the road. Take earplugs.”

“This hotel must have been a Days Inn before- old building, stained ceilings, old bathtub,sink drain and toilet all with permanent water stains. Would not recommend. ”

The rooms in the older part of the lodge have great historical appeal with a lovely courtyard and proximity to the dining and entertainment part of the property. “My wife and I loved our stay at the La Dona Luz Inn. Paco, the owner, was a treat to meet and to talk to and learn about the history of the Inn and the exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful decorations throughout the Inn. Our room fantastic with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom and spacious room. The Inn is an ideal location for walking around the historic Taos center.
