The property was close to restaurants and shopping. The beds were worn out, breakfast staff spent more time chatting in then back then they did making sure all food was prepped. They need to have a designated smoking place for staff where customers don’t see them.

Top Saginaw Location
Absolutely beautiful property. The building was immaculate and the grounds were manicured. Room was absolutely spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I will definitely be back to this location.

Shower was extremely clean but, the shower head could use an update. Also the provided product dispenser was not placed very well…great stay over all.

Wonderful.
We enjoyed our suite. Large, comfortable, very nice amenities. Room, hallways and breakfast room were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was wonderful. Many options and good quality. Nice hotel. I’m not sure who did it but someone went around and cleaned off the snow from every car in the lot overnight. Thank you,

To begin, my room had a horrible stench of dirty wet dog blended with animal urine. We were then given a can of air freshener. The counters were sticky, and our room had several big spiders. We changed rooms the next day and paid full price even after expressing our concerns. The pool room door was broken making the only access through an outside area door. On day 2 we were constantly disturbed by “groups” of young teens running and loudly screaming up and down the hallways. Overall a bad experience for my 8 year anniversary.

there was not anything really unique about this property. The trash can outside the side door was always stuffed, the day is was over full and gulls were having party and trash was on the grounds. This was our check out day so reported to the staff and they sent someone out there right away. Other several small issues with our room or stay were promptly attended to. Staff was always ready to take care of.

Our most recent visit, disappointing.
It took a few visits to the front desk to get checked in and out. On prior visits the staff was very attentive, they even welcomed guests with a happy hour, offering food and adult beverages. The wifi service was all but non-existent, they did however offer a bump-up service for $5/day, and that from the highest priced accommodations near Saginaw. Our 3rd visit to this Residence Inn was o.k., but disappointing when viewed in the light of our previous visits. It all could be said to reflect poorly on the community, or perhaps the management. I liked the fire pit; it was a great way to decompress at the end of a very long day. Also, we travel with a service dog. All staff was well trained on how to handle guests with service animals. What could be improved was the handling of trash inside the room. When you have a kitchen, you're going to need more than a 2 gallon trash bin. Because we were there just 3 days, no cleaning was done in between days, which is okay, if you have a trash bin that can handle it.

The rooms were not clean properly I had syrup on the countertops and microwave was dirty refrigerator with dirty toys left from previous guest debris in the drawers recleaned the room myself was not happy but the stafff was great especially the front desk ppl

Nicest suite for the price
The receptionist Erica was fantastic. She made sure this night stay was on my Bon Voy account and checked me in quickly and was just a very nice personable person. The room was clean with full size fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, plates silverware, cups, mugs, pots, pans and utensils. There was a small bar to eat at, a very nice pull out couch and comfortable bed. A very nice place to stay on a business trip.

The rooms are very comfortable and well designed for comfort, use, and aesthetics. I especially appreciated the separate sink area with an expansive vanity. The room and the rest of the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The beds were quite comfortable. Negatives: the room wasn't well stocked (no linens or blankets for the sofa bed, on 2 towels, 2 small spoons, and only decaf coffee packages in the room). While the breakfast area offered a nice mix of hot and cold items in theory, when other guests absconded with all the yogurt, chocolate milk, and hard boiled eggs, they were not replenished. The pool was overwhelmingly chlorinated and very loud. While the gym equipment worked great, the TV was out of commission. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The negatives were minor inconveniences that were far outweighed by the otherwise excellent room and service.

Absurd Pet Fee
The pet fee for this hotel - unless you're staying for 4+ days - is absolutely ridiculous. I paid more for my dog to stay the night than for the room. I was unaware of the pet fee before I arrived for check-in and had I known I definitely would've stayed somewhere else. Free wi-fi is only for Mariott Rewards members, which also ridiculous for a $100/night hotel. They provided HBO and other streaming services on the TVs but the wi-fi signal was so crappy nothing would load to be watched. The other guests were also very noisy in the hall - not a fault of the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable and if not for the pet fee, I am probably satisfied with the stay. However, the pet fee more than doubling the cost of the room and not complimentary wi-fi at $100+/night are major issues. I do not plan to stay at another one.

Our room was good, amenities were good, even had entertainment like pool and board games but our neighbors were awful and it ruined our whole experience. The first neighbors yelled, argued and slammed their doors all night long. The second neighbors were arguing and the boyfriend was full on trying to kick the door off the hinges and was yelling obscene things so bad that my 10 year old was scared to go to sleep and shaking. Multiple guests called the didn't desk to complain and we were informed the cops were being called. This was around 10/11. Around 1/3 am the boyfriend came back and was screaming in the parking lot (right next to my bedroom window). It was ridiculous. On top of the exit door being next to my room which slammed insanely loud all night long… we got no sleep. I informed the front desk all if this upon checkout and all u was given was $30 off my stay.
